wow, I know the LCS guys love to see you walk in the door $$$ 🙂 That was a huge haul. My haul was much smaller but did pick up Black Widow Hawkeye, as my shop guy said it was good.
That's good to know I am so looking forward to that book. Hopefully the character interactions are good.

There has never been a time with this many different types of comics available. Seems like you surely could find something you like.
@@langreeves6419 I'm sure there are probably some good books but I'm done...the high prices, multiple variant covers, identity politics and general overall low quality of art and story telling turns me off but that's just my opinion and you know what they say about opinions...
@@dephiance well, be careful not to wander into a shop. I wish I could quit, but comics are so good these days. So my pull list just keeps getting longer. I enjoyed comics growing up in the 60s and 70s. We had good comics back then, but not as good as what we have today.
But the big two suffer from way too many events.

I picked up Kayless #1 from Silverline, the art looks fantastic from the few pages I flipped through and the story sounds interesting, I've never heard of the publisher before but looking forward to this one

New to collecting. I’m up to a short box so far. I really like the War Journal Green Lantern so far, big Last Ronin fan, got into the What If Venom as well.

I told myself that I was going to cut my pull down this year, but I just did my pre-orders for May or June and chose a whole bunch of the Blood Hunt stuff from Marvel. 🤦🏼♂️

Only wanted Ult Spider-Man so I could read a good Spider-Man book. I'm not interested in the thinker and secret invasion shit.
But then I got Ult Xmen. Wow, with two great stories from the Ult Universe.....I decided to pick up Ult Black Panther 1 & 2.
I might end up with all the ultimate books.

After you’re review on venom 31 I bought it and I read it and I loved it I’m back on board with that series I can’t wait for the next issue

I think it'd be funny if at a major milestone comic haul, #650 or #700 (#1000?!) you reset to #1 and start doing legacy numbering..."welcome back to the channel web-heads, I'm Mike Spider Slayer, this is comic haul #1, legacy #651...it'd be just as awkward as Marvel's numbering lol. Cheers and love the channel!
Man oh the funny thing is I did that already a long time ago I started over at a group channel I was working on from #1 and when I came back to this channel again for the hauls I did the legacy numbering. That is when Marvel first started the legacy stuff.
It's a bummer what Dynamite is doing to Thundercats. 30+ great covers per issue with less than great in the guts. Could be a great series but seems more of a cash grab than anything.

I had a ratio variant of a mini which I ended up not enjoying so I let it go...I HAVE a ratio variant of Knight Terrors: Shazam! #2 😅 by Evan 'Doc' Shaner. (I also own cover A bc Dan Mora 😎) and ordered one of Shazam! that is now discounted.
All of these from the US. I'm kinda glad my LCS don't have ratios = less temptations.

I finally dropped ASM, gang war was a waste of money and for me the final nail in the coffin for the series. I'll try it out when we get a new creative team but I can't do it anymore 😂 this is an all time low for the series

That "Spectacular Spider-men" cover looks like a homage to the famous "Wolverine" cover by Frank Miller. Agree that "Thundercats" needs a better artist. With all the hype it generated, one would think they would have hired a premium talent for the book. Hope "UPB" continues to be good, and think it will. Sad that DWJ is leaving "Transformers", both as an artist (starting next issue), and a writer (after twelve issues). I may be in the minority for this opinion, but I don't like Spider-Gwen. Gwen Stacy's death was a major milestone in Marvel comics, and comics as a whole. I prefer she stays dead to maintain the impact of that arc where she died. It just cheapens her loss with her back, and it doesn't make sense to me that she developed spider powers, just like our man Petey.
You are right when it comes To that Miles Cover. Man Transformers was insane this week.
