Independent Legislator Throws Beef Party in MLA Hostel in Kashmir

An independent legislator and MLA Sheikh Abdul Rashid threw a beef party in Srinagar only two days after the beef ban issue rocked the Jammu Kashmir Assembly.
The legislator hosted the party in the lawns of MLA hostel and served the guests with beef kebabs, meat balls (ristas) and other beef dishes.
The purpose of the get-together was to give a clear and loud message to legislature, power corridors, judiciary and other institutions that nobody needs to seek permission for what to eat and what not to eat.
