Actual real context: the Vtubers were all csa victims and one of them was a pregnant woman that contemplated game end over the harassment and Katliente and Nyuumi contributed to it by spreading misinformation. Nyuumi started the entire harassment and actually even told someone to game end themselves just for trying to protect a pregnant woman Vtuber. Obvi TV was caught doing actual illegal thing too by distribution of generated illegal material because they claimed someone's irl pics snd distributed it as illegal material because of the docs and ppl had been trying to alert the authorities too

As someone who's been into lolita fashion for over a decade, I've NEVER heard someone shorten lolita to "loli". Because we try to hard to separate the two. Lolita has nothing to do with loli or lolicon (at least not in the more modern sense; lolicon was once short for lolita complex, but the fashion has become very separate). It's just very cute Victorian style fashion that's also very modest.
I only ever heard loli used in a sexual way or to describe a little girl; until I started watching vtubers who defend it, and shotas, saying it's a body type and not the age. When that's not really true.. There's a huge difference between a petite character and a loli.
Kana from Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon being a loli. Whereas Kobayashi is a good example of a petit woman in the same art style.
Or vtubers, Gura is more loli like, even her friends called her one. Where as Mint Fantôme is petite.
Loli is typically referred to the character or person that is childlike, and lolicon is the person obsessed with the loli. Same with shota and shotacon. What I find weird in more recent online activity, is that people will protect shotacons, but think lolicons are pdfiles or vice versa. It's really weird.. if one is unacceptable, the other is too.
(Edit: meant to say people think lolicons are bad but shotacons are good but messed it up)

There's no real "block" feature on youtube. However what you can do is scroll to one of her videos that appear on your feed, click on the three buttons to the right side and press the "don't recommend channel" option and her videos will no longer appear for you, at least on practice.

Also I believe there is a limit as to how much you can “block.” I’ve experienced and read from other people that after awhile after so many “blocks” old “blocked” accounts start showing back up on the feed. This is completely anecdotal though

1. If you talk about it you risk becoming a part of it.
2. Don't look at the numbers. If enough people see the drama and deem that your take is in the wrong (whether it is or isn't) then you'll be in trouble with a lot of bigger channels and their fans, and not just the people involved in the actual drama.

For anyone who doesn't know, there are entire online groups for "para files" (not calling actual names to not get deleted) which includes anything from being into objects to elderly folks to food and literally anything else. Its just tourists and bad actors trying to pretend they know what a Loli is. The 'science has been settled'. It has nothing to do with age or being 'childlike'. Its 100% about body type. Loli characters can be underaged, but its purely up to the creator to decide on that. Nothing pertaining to ages or whatever people try to tell you. Also, one thing people like to gloss over when it comes to loli. Practically all anime characters are 'young looking ' and 'childlike' by default. This goes for the teens and adult characters. So i would advise keeping that in mind when looking at loli characters, when trying to 'judge' people who like them or Vtubers. By default, that is what anime characters tend to look like.

Legal loli: Looks quite young but are over 18, you can typically tell in the way they act and parts of their appearance that they're a bit older.
Ancient loli: Looks like a child but is several 100 yo (typically either an excuse to draw a child, or they are treated like actual children)
Teen loli: Looks like a middle schooler but is in high school.
When it comes to absurdly short anime women there is also shortstack which technically is an actual body type. It's a short woman with curves. While Lolies are flat.
This isn't to argue whether it's ok or not, just explaining what it is by definition

in my experience that's fairly recent. most anime terminology was built off of jp otaku lingo ages ago and we used it very similarly to japan a while back. i think its literally that twitter has co-opted these words recently and the new association has become more known to people outside the anime community sphere. sure people don't need to use loli but also it's the language japan uses and we have been using longer than twitter has known of the word. it is literally just a category for a character type and yeah it does get sexualised a lot but its like saying "high schooler" is inappropriate on the basis that it is also sexualised a lot. it's just not a big deal

If you hate loli's and loli content so much go and attack Holo live where Vtubing started and have plenty of loli characters. One of the biggest if not the biggest Vtuber is a loli which is Gawr Gura which recently also had a Collab with the Los Angeles Dodgers and was thanked for winning the match for singing. You could not produce CP unless you had real children act as models for your drawing, animation or work. The current state of the law is that to be deemed CP, a real child or children must be used in the production of the offending material.
The “Miller Test” is what they use to determine this in courtrooms but it’s become so cumbersome to rule on that photographic evidence of actual children is nearly impossible to prosecute most are caught in distribution, exhibition or transportation and not on possession charges. For instance writing can’t be considered CP without accompanying photographic mediums. You would be able to draw something that would violate national security or write something that could get you arrested like a bank robbery note that you handed to the clerk or a credible threat against someone before the “CP” everyone hammers on about in here could land you in a county jail for the night.
In fact “virtual” and “simulated” “children” and the material they are in is considered protected by the first amendment (the last time I had any update on this was 2022 though so it may have changed it was the Supreme Court where that was discussed, the only distinction was this is None Applicable to real children their “material” is treated entirely different.). If it is a creation solely from the head/mind drawn onto without a real child used as a “muse” it will never stand scrutiny and will not be prosecuted here in the US at least.
