Film at Lincoln Center was pleased to honor Jeff Bridges as the recipient of the 49th Chaplin Award, presented at a gala evening on April 29 at Alice Tully Hall. The evening encompassed a joyful celebration of the actor's incredible body of work featuring notable speakers and film clips, culminating in the presentation of the Chaplin Award.
The annual Gala, which has honored some of cinema’s most outstanding talents, featured Rosie Perez, who appeared with Bridges in Fearless, for which Perez received an Academy Award® nomination; Sharon Stone, who starred in Matthew Warchus's Simpatico with Jeff Bridges; Blythe Danner, who starred alongside Bridges in 1975's Hearts of the West; and Chris Pine, who co-starred with Bridges in the Oscar-nominated Hell or High Water.
