Yeah it's also really good for getting all the packages at the start of the game, that's what I use it for anyway lol. But I learnt it in the original and only tested to see if it would still work, and to my surprise it did. So thought I'd make a video showing it for people :)
It did a little different for me. I kept running until I was under the city and jumped off the side and fell for like 20 seconds and then spawned in a parking lot on the island!
You could just do the glitch where you land your car at an angle dropping down towards the tunnel entrance from above where you went or by flipping it at an angle at the train station entrance
Yeah I remember it from back in the day but i didn't actually expect it to still work in the "definitive" but it did so thought it would help some new players out. And surprise some old players that it still worked :)
@@joshsanderson5512 you'd think being tho it was ported and that they had the balls the call it Definitive they would have changed and fixed a few of the old faithfuls but nope grove street games did the most lazy barebones remaster they could. That is why all these glitches and exploits still work. Like i said in a different reply, other than some edits to make code work in unreal they really did pretty much nothing to the game in terms of fixes or otherwise really.
@@TheJasongrodsky haha yeah I guess that's somewhat true, it's funny that they removed a mostly inaccessible area but didn't bother to even allow Claude to climb a wall or anything really, you know quality of life upgrades. Not the same game but inferior, with uglyer Npc's, about as much pop in as the ps2 version, butchered driving and more bugs to boot. The list goes on. It's tiring how many little problems and big one's that there are with it tbh.
I was honestly shocked it still worked. Even if it was abit different than the old way, I'm just surprised it's there at all tbh being tho it's a remaster in a new engine and all that. But glad it works regardless.
Did you do ambulance missions in the end ? I'm on Staunton in the story but it's nigh impossible to do the ambulance without luck on your side (need as less patients to pick up near the construction site as possible)
As far as I'm aware yeah it does. But haven't played the definitive version in awhile now to be 100% but it's worked in the original and in the definitive when I made this video so honestly I doubt it's something they will patch anyway. Hope that helps atleast :)
Because of the way the game is made. You're not really supposed to be on that island untill the story allows it. So the enemy's and those sort of things are static and ready and waiting for you as soon as you have gotten of the prison bus. You just wouldn't know it untill you do a glitch like this one to break the curation of the game/story to see it. Hope that answers your question bud 👍
Sorry to hear that, I dont think it's been patched out as it's been present in every version of gta3 to date but honestly I haven't tried it I quite some time now to know for 100% sure tbh.
