Im 14 but I can remember a lot like a song in the game or that I used an ambulance to go to an island which I don’t know the name of. Really long time ago
In Vice City I was at the light tower on the edge of the beach and spent hours trying to snipe someone driving their boat and hoped their boat came to the shore. Luckily enough it did and I got to the other island and used a safe house and actually made a save file from that location. It was the coolest feeling to me to outsmart the game at 9 years old.
I would always camp at the private docks of starfish island and wait for a boat to to drive directly in front of me so I could jump on and steal the boat. Lots a rage quits and lots a drowning but it always worked out

There is actually a violence mode in the game where you can make people's limbs fly away from them using guns or explosives. Also, a lot of blood. That was later on disabled, but using a cheat code it's possible to enable violence back.
Clorox Hammer Man honestly that's probably what these new gtas are missing. But with these new graphics and visuals the game would probably get an Adults only rating.
Clorox Hammer I played the game multiple times since I was 5 and it always had that thing. The thing is my older brother (way older brother) used to let me but hesitated to let me play San Andreas for some reason lol
@@yakone1379 probarly because it has alot of Gang violence and a heck ton of cursing, it has more cursing than any other GTA game, only rivaled by GTA V, while GTA 3 has much less cursing and not much violence, apart from if you really are crazy and want to tear people's bodies apart
Strangely, never knew GTA3 had a built-in "save you if you drown" feature if you drowned right next to the pier. I'd always miss when I tried jumping into boats, and never recall having that feature activate for me. I guess I'd never drown close enough for that to activate!
I never had any special feature nor did I used cheat codes and that still happened to me, but that was very rarely. I think it was a glitch in the game.

I was only 7 when GTA 3 came out so I always just skipped the islands roamed the game etc..I realized as I got older that doing the missions and following the flow of the game makes it better
Actually, graphics have reached its peaked. Once PS5 and the next stupid Xbox comes out, graphics won't get any better. It'll remain at par. I know because I've been in the graphics industry for 2-3 years now.
@@DarkenedShadow89 time will tells if processors still progress enough beyond moore's law (after around 2025) but even then software and algo's optimisation still can. I don't think we reached this peak already, there's a lot of factors to be aware

I knew these cheats way before I even started the game. I always enjoyed driving around first to gather information and memorize the streets before I even begun the game. I remember every corner of this map. I felt like I was living in the game. 10 years had past since I last played this and I still feel like I was playing it yesterday. Such a pleasant memory.
To be fair, GTA 4 and 5 do have FWD cars, and pretty spot on Though GTA 3 has very intricate and responsive handling model, especially for it's time, i discovered the handling.cfg file recently and it's so much fun understanding and messing with cars
They definitely added the ability to cross islands deliberately. I remember when I was like 10 years old and playing this, I never did any of the missions and was always stuck on the first island. Wish that I'd known of this fifteen years ago!

The first time I tried to get to the Shoreside Vale was when I had already unlocked the Staunton Island. I was surprised to see that the subway was open already, then disappointed when I drove to the Shoreside Vale and realized I couldn't exit the subway because it was closed on that side. I couldn't just drive the boat either, since the pipes are blocking the way. I ended up driving the boat onto the land and pushing it over to another side of Staunton Island, then drove it to the Shoreside Vale.

Umm, no f-g way ; GTA trilogy is not a better set of open world titles. How can you even compare Watch_dogs I and II with these older GTA's ? Personally, I liked both video games.
You're not forced to use the metro to go at Shoreside when you're at Staunton. You can use the tunnel, it's not blocked between these island when the blue wall is still at Portland
I remember glitching throught the wall in the airport train station when i was kid, so i can walk over the ceiling of the train tunel and then falling off to the infinite, then i magically spawn outside the airport
I always liked to park the car above the tunnel right on the edge of the concrete, then when Claude opens the door and lands in the water instead of drowning he falls underground in a glitch then you have him jump down from the “underground” and he will fall for a bit but land above ground 😂
I use the under-the-sea tunnel glitch. 1. Get the _Fire Engine_ 2. Drive to the North end of _Portland Island_ and get onto the concrete bit that runs round the shore of the island there. 3. Follow the shore round to where the road tunnel is on the North East corner of the island and position the _Fire Engine_ above the tunnel entrance, over the centre of the tunnel, in line with the road, facing West towards the sea. 4. Press the side view button and creep forward until the front wheels drop off the edge of the concrete. 5. Open the door and get out. You will somehow drop down between the wall and the sea and end up on TOP of the tunnel. 6. You may need to use mouse look to get a low enough angle to see what you're doing. 7. Carefully run forward along the top of the tunnel, jumping over the various barriers as needed. 8. When you reach the junction to _Staunton_ , turn left and follow the tunnel as far as you can. 9. Once you are certain you are below land (not sea), drop off the side of the tunnel. You will fall and then the game will re-position you on the land. 10. That's it. You're on _Staunton Island_ Go save at the safe house. This is a 100% reliable method. And absolutely dead easy not relying on any dodgy bridge jumps or anything. Enjoy.

The first time I tried to get to the Shoreside Vale was when I had already unlocked the Staunton Island. I was surprised to see that the subway was open already, then disappointed when I drove to the Shoreside Vale and realized I couldn't exit the subway because it was closed on that side. I couldn't just drive the boat either, since the pipes are blocking the way. I ended up driving the boat onto the land and pushing it over to another side of Staunton Island, then drove it to the Shoreside Vale.

You're not forced to use the metro to go at Shoreside when you're at Staunton. You can use the tunnel, it's not blocked between these island when the blue wall is still at Portland

Well in GTA SA you literally jump the fence to the Los Santos airport to go to SF and LV
But you can‘t get a 6 star wanted level, until you haven‘t unlocked the last island.
I remember glitching throught the wall
in the airport train station when i was kid, so i can walk over the ceiling of the train tunel and then falling off to the infinite, then i magically spawn outside the airport

I always liked to park the car above the tunnel right on the edge of the concrete, then when Claude opens the door and lands in the water instead of drowning he falls underground in a glitch then you have him jump down from the “underground” and he will fall for a bit but land above ground 😂

This is golden! Haven't seen those scenes for almost 20 years!
I use the under-the-sea tunnel glitch.
1. Get the _Fire Engine_
2. Drive to the North end of _Portland Island_ and get onto the concrete bit that runs round the shore of the island there.
3. Follow the shore round to where the road tunnel is on the North East corner of the island and position the _Fire Engine_ above the tunnel entrance, over the centre of the tunnel, in line with the road, facing West towards the sea.
4. Press the side view button and creep forward until the front wheels drop off the edge of the concrete.
5. Open the door and get out. You will somehow drop down between the wall and the sea and end up on TOP of the tunnel.
6. You may need to use mouse look to get a low enough angle to see what you're doing.
7. Carefully run forward along the top of the tunnel, jumping over the various barriers as needed.
8. When you reach the junction to _Staunton_ , turn left and follow the tunnel as far as you can.
9. Once you are certain you are below land (not sea), drop off the side of the tunnel. You will fall and then the game will re-position you on the land.
10. That's it. You're on _Staunton Island_ Go save at the safe house.
This is a 100% reliable method. And absolutely dead easy not relying on any dodgy bridge jumps or anything.
