You could also do a Quickdraw (Sheath Attack) from Satori (or any Katana) after throwing (Knife/Axe) while on cooldown or impaled to the enemy (You dont need to switch to Satori or any Katana) As long as the Katana is put into secondary weapon slot and the throwing weapon is in the primary weapon slot. In this way you automatically switch to your Katana. Also note that from Quickdraw when you keep on holding the Attack Button, you will be in Charge Attack pose, so when you release it you will also do a Charge Attack. Basically, the sequence will be Throw > Quickdraw > Charge Attack. In some cases if you have the Finisher perk from the Blade in Reflex skill perk tree. After doing a Quickdraw or have enough damage with Throwing weapon, you can instantly dash towards the enemy to perform a Finisher (you can do this while you're air) This moves are so flashy and cool 😁
Personally, I just use Byakko and create an insane attack speed build with massive stamina. It’s extremely satisfying when your character starts spamming slashes left and right with enormous velocity.
@@thecupcakelord5103 Headshot with Headhunter primes target so the next hit with any weapon deals (on headshot) 250% of its damage. And Agaou have aoe electric blast on top of it's normal damage. Together it can devastate groups of enemies, one shot mechs, I saw 10k crits with it. On hardest difficulty ofc.
i use that agaou throwing hatchet as the number 2 slot, headhunter in the number one, and any other throwing knife in number 3. coupled with apogee sandy, clear any battle with one sandy cycle. the agaou one shots any heavy enemy witha headshot and can even take a fair bit of health from a boss. the agaou casues an electrical blast that stun and disables cyberware, stops healing and cloaking. it also silently kill cameras from a distance, though i use a pistol for long distances. once you start with agaou, you'll never want any other weapon. for a knife build that is. hey dont forget the iguana egg in the planter in kopecki plaza when you're doing the heist. everybody forgets that.
Yeeessssss, this is the good stuff I've been waiting for. I'm loving the 2.0 changes and was hoping you'd do a few build guides for the system. At least something going over the changes
Im doing a shotgun samurai run at the mo, was using Satori and Nehan but ive now got a beasty neurotoxin knife and Byakko, and ive got Guts (shotty) so if i swing myself out i can switch to that and get the shotty low stamina bonus, plus sometimes its great just to let rip with the shotty lol will switch out the neuro knife for Stinger/Headhunter later :)
I find it odd that no one seems interested in making a blade build using black unicorn (free gift that includes Witcher 3 based gear). Any chance a build could be tested with it?
I tried this approach as well, but I decided to just make myself so fast and mobile that the only thing that can touch me is smart weapons. And I usually one shot their holder, so it's all good. Throwing knives are just flat out OP. And they make headshots sooooo easy to get with a knife, you barely even have to aim. 20 reflexes, but zero sword skills. Focus on Dash. Get the air Dash, get the free air dash, be a fucking ninja.
The weapoint mechanic has been a lot of fun with this build approach too. Just gold to hit a guy in the foot with a knife so hard he explodes and knocks out his buddy too. 😂
My only problem with this build is that it feels like you're jumping through extra hoops pulling out the Satori when you could just delete enemies with just the knife using the Knife Juggler finisher. It's pretty rare for that not to kill something quick enough and feels a bit more fluid than to go through weapon swaps. Having a katana ready just to block bullets or to panic clear enemies is still nice, but the actual comboing just feels.. Excessive.
I liked the combo until I realized how nuts the pounce finisher is. Do the finisher is a melee attack. There’s that perk that boosts the first melee attack with throwing weapon after headshot by 200%. Also remember the poison consumption perk. I never need the katana.
Yeah you can get it from Dogtown. There's this vendor named Herold Lowe who'll sell it to you but before you do you're gonna wanna farm some eddies first because it's gonna be expensive

I still haven't figured how to properly do NEHAN throw into SATORI sheathe dash... How do you sheathe your weapon to dash. The only way I have found is to wait idle until your character sheathes the katana but that doesn't really do what I want to do. Throw into dash - which seems to be what these are for, right?
It is, especially at the early stage in the game, when you get them. That said, later into the game Byakko/Blue Fang is an arguably stronger combo, imho.
If you're using two weapons that inflict bleeds, then what's the point in going 20 into reflex? Tailwind is so-so, certainly not worth 5 attribute points, and Slaughterhouse is absolutely pointless. I also don't think Style Over Substance is worth 5 attribute points. That's 10 attribute points to play with.
its a single player game, literally any build you specialize in will be busted op from midgame and you will be a god at endgame. my preference is to push my int to 20 asap and dont give a damn about any of the other stats. maxed out netrunner is and always will be the most op in this game.
They used to be but not any longer. I used to be able to drop whole rooms and just walk in and collect loot. Unfortunately, 2.0 is not forgiving to netrunners, nor is a NR as strong.
@@jadenpruitt0 I hear ya, with me its a problem with any games combat that slows time. I like it used against me by the ai tho. I am not a fan of any game mechanic that sets up god mode, in any game, slowin time almost always does.

You sure it works like that? If have 2 knives, it will automatically take other one no matter the position. Mantis too.

Main reason why Deep-Field is godtier isn't actually the crit chance. It's Crit damage that it gives and max out at +20%.

The game switches me to bare hands as third option...
Use the weapon wheel
Use the first and second weapon slots only, and leave the third empty. Also in settings disable swap to arm Cyberware might help.
