They've put a lot of work into the three singles this summer releasing visualizers, lyric videos, and finally videos for each. The latest single TokSik is the first rap section I've heard in a Starset song
STARSET opened for Breaking Benjamin at the Fox Theater in Detroit when I first saw them. I had no idea who they were, and they only had one album. They have been my favorite band ever since. EVERYONE NEEDS to see these guys live, it is an incredible experience.
I actually LOVE horizons. I know it’s maybe not the most challenging album, but there genuinely isn’t a bad song on it. Solid from start to end! Great video man. Really well made and informative 👌🏼
Unfortunately, if you don't know the 'lore', most of the songs seem to tell stories about human relations, sometimes using space related phares and terms as metaphors. Especially since most of Transmssions songs were written for Downplay at the first place, when there were no Starset intentions at all. With all that in mind the lore feels separated from the songs, meda up afterwards to give the songs additional meaning. Nevertheless I love Starset and their songs and that space feeling of productions and arrangements
1st song i heard from them was It Has Begun. Then been listening to them through out their albums. The most surprising thing was I didn't expect Arknights to use 4 of their songs for their game PVs which was Monster for the game's launch and Unbecoming for the 1st anniversary, Infected on the 2nd anniversary then Telescope for the 4th anniversary to commemorate one of the game's plot on space travel Speaking of Arknights:endfield dropped another pv for their game and they used Brave New World for it
Great summary! Need to share this with a friend which I got into Starset this spring :) Currently trying to get her into the lore (so she can follow the upcoming demonstration with its visuals). So yeah a video about it would be very very nice! I sometimes still struggle to get it all even when I would think I know a lot of them Very excited for end of this month when their Immersion Final Chapter show hits EU/UK Good job, keep up. I've only been a fan since the first quater of the year, been a fan of BB since the beginning, I have them to thank for tagging them on their IG. Since then love every single songs plus MNQN. I have yet to listen to the rest of Downplay. I've got myself inked a few of my fav songs on my arm. That's how much their music impacted my life 😊
