- HOW TO MAKE AN UV RESIN JEWELRY?
Hello, Everyone!! In this video, I am making another UV resin earring inspired by yin and yang. I have used silk thread, rhinestones and silver foil in the earrings.
From wire frames, to using the resin then the assembling of the earring pieces to create one complete earring, ready to be worn. I have used silk thread pieces and silver foil in the earrings.
DIY fashion accessories at home. Design your own earrings.
PLEASE FOLLOW NECESSARY SAFETY MEASURES WHILE USING RESIN OF ANY KIND. DON'T FORGET GLOVES AND MASK. CARRY OUT RESIN RELATED WORK IN AN OPEN OR WELL VENTILATED AREAS.

Thank you so much! It is UV resin. It comes in small bottles and cures under UV lamp light.

Your work is really great! I have a question. When you peel off the finished product, the tape on the back will come off together. Why?
It's the type of tape I use, seamless sticky tape for UV resin or Epoxy resin. They come off easily without any residue. Sometimes some residue remains (this usually happens to me when the tape is exposed to air for longer period of time) but it is easy to remove them as well with gentle hand scratch.

Hi again I have one more question. Do you puttering on the frame where it was cut so it won't come apart?. If so how much time under the uv lamp . Lisa
Sorry, I didn't get your question. About the time under the UV lamp, 1-3 minutes depending on the thickness and whether it is colored or not. For the final, I add extra minute to make sure it is completely cured.

Where the wire frame comes together before you start adding your resin how do you Connect the wire to make it a solid piece?!
I don't connect them. I just stick the frame as it is on the tape making sure there's no gap in between. Add the first layer of UV resin and cure it before it leaks.

The resin sticks it together to make it a solid piece. She puts a thin clear coat under prior to colouring then the very last top coat seals the whole piece. Hope this helps. Good Luck.😊
How did you make that square thing to hold down the tape? Is there a video??
Hello! The rectangular base to hold the tape is a piece of thin ply I found at home. I just covered the ply with a white sheet of paper and plastic over it.
Where can I get the ring frame
I shaped the craft wire around a round object to make the frames myself. You can however search online for open bezels.
