Trump doesn’t need distractions to do whatever it is he wants to do. He is very transparent about the things he wants to do. If I was the king family I would want to see the files upfront as well, especially if it contains details of what he was doing with sex workers in those hotel rooms that were bugged by the FBI.
All he does is distract! The freeze on government funds was a distraction! When asked about declassiflying the Epstein files he said yeah but you gotta be careful because it's a Lotta phony stuff in there! How does he know what's in there?
If he didn't release Dr. King's file, people would be saying he trying to hide something. Dr. King's indiscretions are no secret.

Then why can't the family ask to have first dibs just to brace themselves for what might be revealed. It's a fair ask. They aren't saying don't release it, just that they can view it first.
