    Get your facts right. The people of Nima are 2nd and 3rd generation mainly people from Nigeria and other West African countries who migrated to the country looking for work after Nrumah launched the aggressive development programme after independence. Ghana did not have the workforce to build all the schools, hospitals and factories. They settled outside the city of Accra, which is present-day Nima. The Hausas from Nigeria form about 70 percent of the population. Majority of Northerners are actually Christians and not Moslems as people wrongly think.
