- Whether it be a person, a thing, or even one's own self love, all men fasten their hearts upon some master whereby all their actions are directed. Instead of being a slave of his passions, St. Louis de Montfort was captivated by God Alone. After being named an "Apostolic Missionary" by Pope Clement XI, he would spend his life giving missions to the poor of the French countryside. Despite facing countless trials, persecutions, and calumnies, he would never waver in his abandonment to the providence of Mary. The secret of his incredible sanctity would be found a century after his death hidden inside of a trunk. In this newfound book he would teach the world an "easy, short, perfect, and secure way” of arriving at Christian Perfection. A method that was nothing other than "union with Jesus, coming and growing in us by means of a Mother."

It's amazing how onedrifts to the outer fringes the closer to Christ you get. I have given myself to contemplation, lost friends, and ostracized by parish clubs for being too over the top. Praise Jesus for showing me these things, it drives me closer to Him! I didn't know anything of De Montfort, but my soul really resonates with Him!

This kid is a good reader. I appreciate his skill because it edifies what he is reading.
I loved it when Louis was acting too Holy, so all the 'holy' men got angery at him. What a gangle of clowns. And also Clement should have done more for Louis, I know it's easy to go back into history and say what you would have done, but he was litteraly the Pope, he should have helped him more.
