  • Stacey has always taken an honest approach to social media. In this chat with Fearne, Stacey talks about body image, the importance of feeling comfortable in our own skin despite social pressures to look 'perfect', and where she finds her infamous confidence to stand up to the media and the trolls who are determined to shame her.
Why do you think there is a community of women who don't feel comfortable showing a real representation of their bodies on social media? How do you build confidence in yourself and others?
CONTENT WARNING: this episode contains discussion of intrusive thoughts, catastrophising, panic attacks, and body dysmorphia.
Why cleaning helps anxiety? Why is crafting good for mental health? The amazing benefits of practising meditation and mindfulness are available to everyone and doesn't have to mean sitting still. In fact, for Stacey Solomon, calming an anxious mind is about keeping her hands busy with tidying and crafting. Stacey's book, Tap to Tidy, is out now, and has lots of brilliant ideas to help you live by the mantra 'tidy house, tidy mind.'
Stacey Solomon is a British singer who rose to fame on the sixth series of tv show X Factor, finishing in third place. The former X Factor contestant now focuses her time on TV. Her on-screen credits include I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! (for which she was crowned Queen of the Jungle) and Loose Women, for which she sits on the panel. Mother of three sons, Stacey, is an advocate for body confidence and self-love.
