@@readwithsusmitha I found out that there's a sequel to the book called The Prisoner of Heaven. Have you checked it out? I prefer shadow of the wind as a standalone and am worried to be potentially disappointed with the sequel
@@readwithsusmitha I'm taking a chance with it even though I read that the publishers rushed the final book because it was unlike Zafon to end abruptly. I'm reading the prequel at the moment, it's called "The Angel's Game".
I'm so glad that you picked up the girl the cat and the navigator. It's such a lovely read☺️ I also suggested Pony by R J Palacio. I'd love to hear about that book from you. Are these books-the shadow of the wind and the grace of kings beginner-friendly reads? Lovely recommendations. 🤍👍🏽
@@rojaachar thanks for recommending it I loved reading it 😍 will get to other recs soon. No shadow of the wind and grace of kings both are not beginner friendly. They are bit difficult to read initially
Woww, I have a few same books on my TBR (inorder to live, yellow face, the very secret society of irregular witches and the thistlefoot). Oh btw, love your unique book recommendations and that beautiful bookshelf :)
I have somehow managed to overcome my urge of over-buying books. I was never a book reader but this year something changed. I was able to gain focus and finish 8 books till now (which is a big achievement for me). I have a small personal collection of books now out of which 13 are unread at home. This includes the thickest one of my collection 'IT by Stephen King' with 1100+ pages , I will pick that up at last. Really looking forward to it. So what I had decided at the beginning of this year was that everytime I like a book and really get the urge to buy it.. I will add it to my 'wish-list'. Almost every other day I like to spend time on the wish-list, sorting books and prioritizing them. I will buy only when I am done books in hand. This give me time to avoide any impulse buying and only get books that I will really really prefer. More than anything now when I lookback I realise, I have changed so much.. keeping track of books in wishlist.. what.. I never did this before. Really loving it..
Cool list 👌 Shadow of the wind has piqued my interest! Got my copy of “..irregular witches” delivered on Sunday. Waiting for the read! Nice that you have included Jane Eyre!
I've just stepped into the cosmere. Read only 200 pages of mistborn. And, my god what an introduction for me into the fantasy world. Warbreaker is a stand alone but I think it's good to read it after reading the first book in the stormlight archive, the way of kings. I also want to read the dandelion dynasty series but the first book is too costly for me. It's over 900 rupees. 😢
@@VoxCentral hi there. I’m stepping into commerce for the first time and I’m having my time. 😃 definitely planning to read all the comers books out there. About dandelion series try Amazon I got it for ₹450.
