@@xijingping3899 No, I just hated him for putting up with Butcher for 6 months on Hughie Campbell's request. When Butcher finally braves up and tells everyone he doesn't have much time left, M.M ignores Campbell and just kicks him out. He isn't half the leader Butcher was because everyone doesn't fear M.M like they do Butcher. Except for Hughie, the Boys just come and go when they want. He just doesn't have the same respect. Also, M.M keeps leading the Boys into traps, just like he did with Firecracker. And when Butcher shows up and saves everyone and asks for a second chance just to save Ryan, M.M still shoots him down. M.M is starting to earn points back in my book for how he is handling A-Train and the fact that he welcomed Butcher back into the Boys, although I don't understand where that came from.
Why the change to Frenchie?? Him and Kimiko have serious build up and this is so outta left field it comes off as tone death pandering. It feels forced af 🤨

This show has always had terrible writing where the characters do stupid uncharacteristic events for the plot

There is no love triangle. If you'd bothered to watch the scenes, Kimiko (amicably) tells Frenchie that she loves him, but not romantically. They're like family to each other, and Frenchie agrees with this, and Kimiko then gives him her blessing to date Colin.

I feel like this is gonna go down the drain like The Witcher where the writers experimented however they want without any respect for what made the series good.
To be frank, it already has. It had a framework it could play from; the source material. But they threw that out very early on and when they did things started going downhill immediately.
It would have been amazing to see homelander slowly losing his mind essentially because he was being gaslit into thinking he already was like that (rather than "just" an incredibly horrible socipathic rapist)
@@Grashnookthe entire comic story was edgy trash, Homelander becoming insane from the noir gaslight was a horrible twist. The show isn’t perfect due to it’s appeal to just one political side, but it’s without a doubt a dozen times better than the source material.
