Maharishi Vishwamitra brings Shri Ram to Ahalya's ashram. Ahalya was cursed to turn into stone by her husband, Maharishi Gautam, for being unfaithful to him. However, Shri Ram listens to Ahalya's story and finds out that Ahalya was deceived by Lord Indra. Shri Ram lifts Ahalya's curse and finally frees her from her prison. Meanwhile, Ravan arrives in Mithila for Mata Sita's Swayamvar.
