i went to insomnia and i really fucking wanted to buy a ticket to go see this as well but all my friends aren't zelda fans and i didnt want to stand alone
Better yet, if Nintendo and Jason Michael Paul decide to bring this back, they should collab with the local public broadcasting stations (like the channel literally called PBS) to produce clean concert footage of this.
This crowd was very well behaved. I hope they are like that when I go to the Chicago symphony in November. I have to say though that the 2016 symphony is better.
It's nothing about liking it more, this crowd is more sitting back and absorbing each and every note. I went to this show that is in the video and it was amazing! I loved that the crowd were silent as it allowed me to experience each and every note to its fullest :-)
This was, I believe, the first SotG concert in Europe where they included the new Skyward Sword Symphonic Movement which starts at around 35:30. I actually co-wrote this piece; i.e. they mixed my submitted arrangement and that of another arranger together to create the new piece you hear in this concert. It was incredible to hear this piece performed live for the first time.
I might be wrong so feel free to correct me if I am, but I'm pretty sure that's the Hyrule Field theme from Twilight Princess Edit: I was right, it is. Personally, my favourite Hyrule Theme out there, much more to enjoy than just the brass!
It's important to note that I recorded this without any professional audio equipment. It was all done by the Sony camcorder(HDR-CX450). I just didn't have the time to learn how to use a professional audio recorder. I am totally thinking of getting one though at some point in the future so I could have even better sound in whatever I'll record as well as teach myself on how to use one properly.

koto2211 thanks man!
That's not a Link's Awakening medley. That's just Ballad of the Wind Fish.
This is SO much better in person, trust me. The video REALLY doesn't do it justice.
This was a fantastic concert, my first in live orchestral music, what an absolutely epic thing to be a part of. Thanks for the video!
1:33:29 those darn violins always pierce my soul. =)
this was my second Zelda concert, I will never forget it, this conductor was way more enthusiastic than my first concert
i went to insomnia and i really fucking wanted to buy a ticket to go see this as well but all my friends aren't zelda fans and i didnt want to stand alone

Adrian Duran Thanks!
This was amazing, so glad there is a video to watch it back, thank you for putting this up :)
I cannot believe they do not sell the soundtrack at the concerts even! I went to the concert in Minneapolis and they didnt sell them there!

Went to the San Diego Comic Con Concert last Friday. Music still stuck in my head
That conductor is so enthusiastic
That's the one we got last night - he conducts shows in Montreal and Quebec City. He seems nice.
I was at the San Diego one on 7/21/2017 and that composer was great. He was energetic and funny.
Sheesh, A Link Between Worlds soundtrack is surprisingly one of the best of the bunch!
Wait
We didn't get Dragon Roost or Gerudo Valley at our concert!
Lucky...
Many thanks for this, I was sat to the right of you!
Saw this yesterday and it was incredible! worth every penny and more so!
I was there live too! Fantastic performance
This crowd was very well behaved. I hope they are like that when I go to the Chicago symphony in November. I have to say though that the 2016 symphony is better.
Im going to it in Chicago with my fiancee too. I can't wait!! :D
seriously? i hated the triforce heroes part. besides that it was ok. this one is AMAZING!
I'm going to the Chicago one too!!! I hate that they won't have it in Houston!! Had to travel to go listen to these gorgeous pieces
I went to the one in NY! The crowd there would shout and have a great time! Those guys seem to like Zelda more than these guys in this video

breath of the wild music is perfection.

hahahahaha
Do someone knows from which game 5:38 is? Those brass are giving me goosebumps
I might be wrong so feel free to correct me if I am, but I'm pretty sure that's the Hyrule Field theme from Twilight Princess
Edit: I was right, it is. Personally, my favourite Hyrule Theme out there, much more to enjoy than just the brass!
dude you were 3 seats to the left from me at that show
The sound is really sub-par here, I noticed it when I skipped to the botw, it's like something is missing

It would be nice also if the orchestra wasn't taking up the half the screen
hylianlegends You’re mainly there to *listen* to the orchestra.
I can't Watch It
yeah I'm having the same problem... :/
