This sounds very complicated. I'm glad I learned it all before I started kindergarten, back before I even realized I was learning it. It's still not as bad as German verbs with separable vs inseparable prefixes.
thanks for the information but i have a question, Can some phrasal verbs be transitive and intransitive at the same time? for example: "if you want to have more space, you have to break down the builiding (transitive)"; now if i say: " our car broke down in the accident" ( intransitive). So, please explain that, it is very confusing hahahaa.
Hello madam, I hope you are fine. I have a question, kindly help me. I have studied in many books that object pronouns can be placed between main verb and particle but I saw some examples where object pronouns are used at the end. Examples are: Carol ran into her. Carol heart about it. Carol will get off it. Her and it are object pronouns, aren't they? If so, so why are they used at the end. I am looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you.
