This one is one of my favorites from them and I think that Disappear from Horizons is sort of a progression of this. The strings, harmonies, and overall build up and structure of the songs line up well. It's like they said "Hey let's do that but how we'd do it now"
I dunno if you knew about this one; but Dark On Me is kind of like a cover of,, well,, Dark On Me by Dustin's old band Downplay! Downplay's is a heavier and quicker version if I remember correctly!
It’s not a cover. Dark on Me by Downplay was not even official released. So it’s like transition song between this two Dustin’s bands. And this version is sooo much better
Whats funny as shit about you letting me know this is that i heard downplay before i heard starset and never made the connection until now, im blown away
