When you held up that 'Y' shaped branch of tree at the beginning I thought, this slingshot is going to be huge! Very nicely done. The wood grain looks lovely and wooden handles are so ergonomically pleasing.
That's a lovely piece, Joerg. I always admire your ability to take a lump of wood and carve it into something cool, completely freehand in an afternoon!
It’s quite beautiful as well as functional. Good ergonomics has a beauty of its own. Another channel (Screws And Tools) does restorations of various things like swords, often with wooden grips. He mixes sawdust with epoxy which can blend perfectly with the surrounding wood. It won’t accept oil of course but its shine also blends with the oiled wood around it.
Hello Joerg. I am from India. I enjoy your videos a lot. Could you please do a tutorial on the process of creating the slingshots i.e the woodworking aspect of it? The machines and tools and other tips that you can give being such an experienced slingshot maker and user will help some of us start with it. Thank you regardless. One of my favourite channels.
Looks a lot like 'Gary Oak' or Quercus garryana. But can't be b/c they only grow in very, very limited numbers and only in areas from here on Vanacouver Isl., down to California. Also highly protected tree due to small numbers and invasive bugs. Beautiful wood.
Dang...you the man An watching you with that little gun(Chains 7:51 aw) and go to town..your big hands ,strong...love the way you put weapons together..from slints,to slingshots,to cannons,to crossbows and so on....stay strong and keep it up my dutch" brother..dunka" sanii""...
A slingshot? in the slingshot channel? it's more likely than you think!
And more unlikely than one would think at the same time 😂
I dunno... I can think quite a bit.
Yes! I like this slingshot. Great reminder of this channel's roots. Things change, but your aim stays true!

Grandfather Sprave, pulling the lever to release Zyklon B: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Incredible shot!
Goes to France to steal wood, makes sling shot, no wonder people make fun of France, you just keep letting beautiful German men take your stuff
And Joerg. XD
Joerg could probably have invaded France with that slingshot.

I couldn’t hit a barn door at that distance 🤣
Follow a simple tutorial how to shoot sideways and you wil hit cans at 10 meter after a few hours of practice , good luck 😉
I know how you feel. I keep telling my barn door to sit still. Does it nooooooo!
@@xPumaFangx 🤣🤣🤣👍🏻

Wunderschönes Holz, perfekt verarbeitet!
In a few years you'll have a slingshot made from wood from every corner of the world 😄
Ja mein Freund, das ist sehr wunderbar!!
My favorite videos from the 'slingshot channel' are making slingshots in the shop. LOVE it!
Hooray! More slingshots! I love all your other inventions but my first love is slingshots.
Finally a video about slingshots on the slingshot channel.
Nice, something selfmade again - good stuff!
That is why I subbed this channel, not to see all the premanufactured weapons that all of the shops sell.
Amazing slingshot & luv your videos 💯
Casually stands there making the slingshot handle with a cordless sander. Kids, this guy is what you would call an Alpha Male, take notes.
Safety Tee_shirt for the win.

Great to see slingshot content! Only last week I bought a Rambone 2.0 from Gogun UK and loving it. 😊
Another work of art from the master!
Fantastic job Joerg.
You truly inspire me to go out in the woods and find me a nice piece of myself. Please never stop. 🙏
Ngl that's one fire slingshot
A slingshot? I thought this was the crossbow channel! 😂
(Love it!)
German engineering at its finest!!
Bro finds a hunk of wood.
Removes all the stuff that is not a slingshot.
Results in an epic slingshot.
This is a genius craftsman's work.

Casually make a shot from the hip at 60 feet, most of couldn’t even dream of that shot from the hip at 15 feet
That really is amazing.
Back in the old days of the channel Jörg Made a video about instinctive aiming. That is still how I win most (toy-) weapons today.
That "lower position" brace is practically giving it the 'wrist-rocket' qualities I demand.
That's a lovely piece, Joerg. I always admire your ability to take a lump of wood and carve it into something cool, completely freehand in an afternoon!
Excellent workmanship and a cool slingshot.
That is an absolutely beautiful slingshot!
I like, it's FEATURES! 😂
Looks like a beautiful piece of furniture. Deadly furniture.
That is one awesome time lapse Jörg! A master at work :-)
Edit: also… Impressive shot!
Nice slingshot ❤ And great shot 🎉👏
Beautiful slingshot❤
Glad you got a shop to work in now I thought the fire would have made it harder for you. You are a great craftsman rock on from the usa

Very nice work Joe, I thought changing your bolts to brass would be a nice compliment to the finish
Das Holz sieht aus wie von einer Steineiche... Wirklich eine wunderschöne Steinschleuder! Endlich mal wieder 😅

Ja Jörg, ist doch Eiche :)
Joerg, that is a work of art 👍
Joerg you are always the best!
Oak for sure - bark and also an oak leaf was stuck to it.
Great shape and colour.
Back to the beginnings. Love it 😍
looks like oak, and it is a beautiful piece.
Nice! That chainsaw is a great addition to your tool collection.
My own hands started twitching nervously as I saw Joerg moving that tool on a piece of wood held in his other *bare* hand.
It's just a sander.
Me too i thought it was the chainsaw😂
It's fine, he has his safety T-shirt. 😊
Amazing slingshot and dang dude what a shot😂😂😂
I like how the lead ball apparently went through the can and broke a few tall grasses behind it.
You are accurate with that ball!
Great to see you've still got the skills Mr J 👍👍
I love the pink dustpan and brush hanging up next to a deadly looking crossbow 😂😂😂
Very beautiful, it's always nice to see your work.
Not only did you hit the can, but you also did some trimming of the bush behind the can!
Excelente vídeo 👍🏻👍🏻🤓🇧🇷
I love your sling shots.
is there such thing of a slingshot stabilizer? Like the ones on Olympic recurve bows? It would be good idea.
I made mine with 80grit flappy disk on battery grinder
Made 3rd day of covid lol diffrent times 😊

crazy how much use you got out of that belt sander!
The Live Edge was a good choice on the design... 😁👍
That plywood one you could call "The Moose". For obvious reasons.
Maybe I've missed a few videos, but I think this is the first time I've seen the new shop.
