I spent several years in a reserve unit based in and spent my two weeks a year in Sicily. The driving there is "interesting". I learned very quick that just because there's a line in the middle of a two lane road, you quickly make it a three lane road by pulling onto the shoulder to let the faster car pass between you and the car coming the other way. I had to double check that the speed limits were in Kilometers since everyone was leaving me in a cloud of dust. The gas station attendents rock. They are always smiling and happy to see you especially when they find out your a visitor. BTW, my rental was NEVER the fast car down the middle.😆😅🤣😂🤣😅😆

Crazy how cheap speeding fines are around the world compared to Melbourne, Australia. If we get caught doing 4km/h over the limit we get $200 fines and lose points off our licence and there's speeding camera's everywhere
