Last Minute Port Change on Our Iceland Cruise! Winging It on The Faroe Islands!

Our Holland America cruise cancelled Greenland and we came here, Runavik in the Faroe Islands! We didn’t know what to expect from this change to our Scandinavian and Iceland itinerary, but it was great! Runavik is on the island of Eysturoy, along the Skálafjørður. It’s a quiet place with lots of pleasures to be had! The ship docks in town at the King’s Harbor -Kongshavn - where the helpful AskMe Agents are on top of things! Explore the capitol Torshavn via the Eysturoyartunnilin, with the world’s only underwater roundabout. Eat fresh sushi at Etika, take a hike along the Toftavatn Lake trail.
