MOT prep & new inner track rod ends | Mercedes 220CE W124 coupe | Not A Proper Classic

As I continue to deal with the #MOT #fails and get the #mercedes 220CE (#w124 ) ready to pass the retest - I need to change the inner track rod ends. I change both sides to ensure they're both done at the same time and prevent the need for doing this again not too far down the line.

Nice job done. What make was the replacement? I ask because we bought complete new rods for mine as the originals had lasted 420K Kms. MB original replacements. We felt that the difference in cost between individual ends and the complete rods was minimal as I was paying to have it done. The control arms - non removeable ball joints - were a little costly at 500€ each. Ouch!

I got them from AutoDoc. Ridex is the brand. Not MB and won’t last as long. But fit my budget for now!
