Well decided to look at this video ! Thinking no way this one will be very challenging one to do,just to get the tone right,with the right type and amount of reverb. Was a teenager when made in Japan came out,so very familiar with it one of my fav classic guitar tone have been trying to reproduce this tone with diverse amps pod line 6,vox tonelab and never could nail it ! but you did it with the vipyr the tone and playing are spot on congratulation !!!
+FUCKING God Those pickups if they are the same as ritchie uses are the custom 69 fender pickups.These are weak pickups but are very trebly not muddy. What guitar are you using??
If you are into the Made in Japan tone then the pickups to get are The Fender 69 Custom shop,Those pickups are very trebly,and period correct for late 60's early 70's strat tone.They are weak pickups so you need a lot of gain with them.Check out some you tube videos on them. Also how low are your pickups as these makes a big difference,Some players have them almost flush with the pickguard,You will get more treble doing this.

スゴいね、リッチー得意？のミストーンミスタッチ迄コピーしてる( ￣▽￣)後、リッチーのリフ流しの基本であるアップアップダウン、アップアップアップも完璧😃✌️やってみると解るけどアップピッキングってキレイに弦弾いてキレイに音出したり、テンポを保ったりするの結構難しい。
自分はダウンに逃げたけど、そうするとリッチーにならないんだよね(￣▽￣;)
