There's just something so relaxing about watching you work.
I'm always a bit saddened to miss your premiers and when I see the length of them afterwards it gets a little daunting cos who has time for 40+ mins to watch a video, then without fail I always watch the whole thing lol. Justin, your good natured attitude and funny sense of humor even when it's a bit corny especially then actually, always warms my heart a brightens my day and I learn opal cutting from the best teacher around, I should be paying money for this. And today we got to see your lovely and beautiful wife Ruth and the always delightful Melinda. Y'all take care and stay safe. Much love from the states. :)

Hi Justin Anno from north east Scotland I just love watching you work. My godmother who lived in oz. My grandma left me her opal ring. Sadly it got stolen a few years ago. It's my birth stone so I really was so sad to lose it was very white with flashes of vivid red which so far I have not seen you working on. .I spend hours watching you I, m totally hooked hope you keep doing these for long long time. What the hell? I wasn't subscribed?? Well i've surely fixed THAT!! I absolutely LOVE watching you at work, and if I was 20 years younger I'd fly to Australia and beg to become your padawan learner. I've always even as a little kid found opals, especially fire opals to be the most beautiful gems in the world, but where I live the best stones we can find are jade, peridot, garnet and VERY rarely some nice greenish opal but I've never found any. I used to tumble and polish rocks, but seeing you at work is just awesome. Also, Grats on breaking 1k live viewers! Well deserved. I wish to hell I had been home last night to get in the chat myself, but watching the rerun is almost as good. Thank you again for sharing your days with us!

Brother, do you know how hard it is for me to find content from you that I've never seen before? That's how big of a fan I am. I've literally watched all of your videos 3 or 4 times. My birthstone! My Godfather spent two years in Australia in the 50’s, and brought back several stones he had found. He had them cut and set as a set of earrings and a necklace. I wore them at my wedding in 1973. Divorced the husband, but I still have my opals. I was told to oil them with mineral oil twice a year to keep them clean and from crumbling. Is this what I should be doing? I’ve had them since I was gifted with them when I was 6 (1959), although I was allowed to wear them for special occasions.
Always enjoy your shows, just realized I'd never subscribed, fixed that today.

You help me to to become the little girl I was with my father who took me on crystals, amethysts and smoky quartz... My best memories before he passed away. The script pattern... there is a fossil stone known as Calligraphy, Mariam, Elephant, and finally Script stone... I have a few I have found in Northern Indiana. It seems to be layers of fossils that had collected in the muck of an ancient seafloor. Ramble on...

jarmyvicious I saw a National Geographic special a few years ago, that was about how things can opalize inside ancient lava floes. The documentary showed a opalized grass hopper. That blew me away😎

I have never seen a script pattern opal this vibrant before. Even with the sand “pit”, it is still amazing. Who else could handle the job but Justin?

Have you ever tried drilling sandspot out and filling the hole with a color matching resin, might be a good way to fix a hole in a piece of opal.
It is such an adventure watching you cut. I love it. I grew up with Romper Room but you are more entertaining. LOL Rock on!

Great video sorry I missed it live. Fantastic getting to 1000 viewers. Have you ever tried Koroit boulder opal cutting and polishing. Having a go just now a bit of a challenge. Crystal opal is my favourite and then black opal.
