Great wee show! It must still be difficult to do these shows without Alex, but you’re a great trouper Tas. I’m still at the stage where my heart is very heavy to see Scotland without Alex. I remember at Greyfriars Charteris Centre, two of us with sticks (disabled) and another lady, were tongue tied and star struck when he made his way over to speak to us. We all had followed his life in politics and were so grateful to him for becoming leader of the new party. I’ll never forget that moment. I still can’t think of him without the tears coming. We had such faith in his abilities because he had proved time after time to be Scotland,s leader to Independence! Thank you, to you and your husband, for continuing this show, so that we can continue talking about Alex. 💙🏴
Yes, glad you're carrying on. Will be mightily needed as we approach 2026. But mostly I want to see the party develop and catch all the ex SNPers who don't feel they're being listened to.
Cori is spot on with everything she said. From Keir Hardie turning in his grave at the state of Labour to the lethargy of the Sturgeon led 56 MPs in 2015. Unbelievable but believable that she didn't take on Alex's experience and implement his suggestions.
Been an independence supporter since the stone of destiny was brought home by Wendy Wood and Ian Hamilton when I was about six. Lost my brother July past and I believed he was one of the only honest person within the car trade, and it showed at his funeral there were hundreds there. Then we lost Alex Salmond one of the only politicians I could trust politically. So sad. I do believe he could have succeeded getting independence for Scotland.
Alex’s legacy in Scottish politics was 1) The gender reform bill (thank the lord the UK unionist government blocked that bill) and 2) the hate crime bill. That is Alex’s legacy in politics! PS Ash Regan voted FOR the hate crime bill!

Nobody cares about a stone FFS 😂
If at first you don't succeed, try and try again 🏴 king of Kings
Alba was a one man party, and that man is gone, just like his political party and independence dream

Alba might end up like the Scottish Socialist Party extinct.
Andrew Scott just like UK it will be extinct
Alba will fade into obscurity and likely disband.
A nice tribute. But let's face it, the party is finished without Alex.
What's in it? With respect to a salmond the party will just disappear! They have no relevance in Scotland. His party died with him!!!
Ronald just like all unionist parties they will disappear Muppet
I would like to see a statue of Alex Salmond erected outside the Scottish parliament he's a part of Scottish history 👍
We can continue the tributes to Alex, by getting independence for Scotland
👏👏👏👏👏👏👍
