I remember going on this when I was 10 with my sister and grandparents. I still remember the excitement I felt when standing in the terminal looking up at the side of the ship. Would love to go back on.
Cool. Last time I went to Picton was when I was a kid. May see if I can go during Queens Birthday otherwise Labour Day, on the Kaitaki. Heard the Aratere has too many issues.
i was on this ferry when it was new in 1995...irish ferries "isle of innisfree" it sailed on the dublin / holyhead route and then was moved to rosslare/pembroke dock as her near bigger sister 'isle of innismore 'displaced her from dublin...good to see internal changes that were made over the years...but the chairs/furniture are still the same....unfourntently there are no videos on utube of this vessel when she was sailing under irish ferries "isle of innisfree'
Thanks for the support AdAndPlanes! I did have a good time in wellington, although we did not spend much time there. We arrived late the night before and left early in the morning. It looked fun there anyway. We spent 2 weeks total in NZ and had a great time (:
Great vid! I travelled on this ship about 20 years ago from Pembroke, Wales to Rosslare, Ireland. It was called the Innisfree back then (Someone else mentioned this, it was named after and island in Ireland). I'm surprised they still kept some of the old furniture 😂.
You drove through my home town Lower Hutt on the motorway there nice. I'm originally from Wellington (Lower Hutt) but too scared to go on the boat as I easily get seasick. Don't know what it is i just do only on ships.
What do you think of our new branding??
I consider it nice
Do you consider me nice?
the branding
It’s very good
+Anthony Playz Glad you like it

What is the time of the crossing? Do you actually need to sleep on the crossing?
I booked myself in for the plus lounge

Sorry, but your video is extremely hard to watch. Too fast in panning, too short between clips. You really need to slow everything down.
