Public Meeting for I-40 Tijeras Arroyo Bridges - May 16, 2024 | NMDOT

A recorded presentation provided at a public meeting for the I-40 Tijeras Arroyo Bridges Study on May 16, 2024. Four bridges spanning the Tijeras Arroyo were built in 1978 when Interstate 40 was constructed. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the condition of the existing bridges and develop recommendations to address physical deficiencies. The presentation goes over the findings and the preliminary recommendations (which includes potential closure/removal of the west-bound off-ramp bridge).
