    The first light on the left is "handbrake warning light", the second is "brake failure warning light" (Manual of the F355 2.7 Motronic, Item G, Page 13). Imho the GTS is the best version to enjoy the F355 - while standing at the traffic lights, cruising on B-roads - or racing on german autobahn. You can easily drive 250 km/h without hardtop - it's a great experience.
    I own my F355 GTS (a 95 2.7, with airbag, 6 speed, rosso corsa, leather crema nero) now for 13 years - and I drove mine with more revs - not around 2000 but around 3000 to 7000 in reality. The throttle is very direct, indeed. But you can soften it by using the clutch - and driving more in higher revs. When you have enough experience, the F355 ist not jerky! Your F355 is from 94 (2.7 without airbag). From 96 on they hat Bosch Motronic 5.2 - restricted air intakes and perhaps a little less power. Great Video!

    Great cars. I hired a 355 GTS for the weekend about 20 years ago and really loved it. I considered buying one but I wanted to start doing track days and I felt this would have proved expensive in a Ferrari. I loved the gear change, the engine note and the handling though for me the steering was over light and lacking in feel. Ended up getting a Porsche 996 GT3 with bucket seats and a roll cage which I had for many years and loved also. The 996 GT3 had a high revving naturally aspirated engine like the 355 and the BMW E92 M3 I currently drive. I just love high revving naturally aspirated egines with a redline north of 8000rpm though of course the downside is often a lack of torque which will put some people off. Good to see that you drove an early 355 like I did with the non-airbag steering wheel as the later air-bag equipped steering wheels are really ugly.

    An early manual F355 is peak Ferrari for me. I've owned one for 16 years now. A keeper.

    Oh I missed this video. I usually watch all your jaguar XKR videos. Never realised you did a f355. I have owned my f355 spider for 18 years now🤗
    For the last 15 years I have driven mi e to the lemans 24hrs and then do own into the Italian alps. It's a great sports car with a divine sound track (see my video)
    Thankyou for the video😎

      There are even some F355 in early 95 with 2.7 motronic and with airbag (mine, from april/may 95)

      @@Toni62R Out of interest does your car have a passenger airbag as well as the drivers wheel airbag?
      I only ask as mine is a later 95 5.2 motronic UK car without a passenger airbag but does have the driver airbag.

      @@sultanoftippoo3857 I have a separate manual for the airbags (Item H, 8 Pages) and an airbag for the driver and for the passenger.

    What was the warning light on?

      I don't recall what the reason was tbh, but Jake did tell me at the time. Nothing too major obviously as I've forgotten

      @roger spencer The light on the right is a suspension fault for the early generation adaptive dampers (I know that light well as I keep battling suspension gremlins) - not sure about the one on the lower left

    • @RudyP18
      @RudyP18 Год назад

      Thinking about it more, I believe the lower left one is the parking brake fault (either the flyaway handbrake is not fully released - easy to do - or the down switch needs to be adjusted/replaced)
