I was married and after our kid was grown and out on their own we both decided we wanted to do different things in life and split amicably, I've stayed single since, and now at 45, it's fantastic, my kids grown, and our relationship is great, I'm doing my own thing in life, doing and living how I want and it's absolutely tremendous. I have no interest in dating or having a relationship now, not because I don't like modern women or anything, just that I enjoy my freedom and peace and quiet more,.

This is the first time I've seen details about the FnF debacle. I studied foreign language, specifically Chinese for 6 years and Japanese for 1. Fit "exposing" her for her name not being Daisy... of course its not and she probably told you... You knew she's from mainland China. Its common for Asians in general (in my experience) to adopt western names/western sounding names when moving here. One of my 老师 name was (legally changed?) to Jade, she told us she chose it when moving because she liked it. I also remember one of the Japanese students I studied with preferred to be called Taco, his name was Takeshi but thought Taco was a funny word. Its not uncommon to adopt different names when traveling to different regions because the language so so different and its done to fit in more. We were given Chinese names to go by when studying or if you traveled and lived with a host family for a bit.
I immediately thought that too, I live in a city where the second highest demographic is Chinese people and almost all of them have an English name and they'll usually put their Chinese name as a middle or 'other' name here.
They often choose an English name when they start learning English back in their home country. Not just when they move to a western country.
