Thanks, Angelia. Ultimately, I really enjoyed the combination of All Yours and Time of the Flies. I'm less thrilled so far with Thursday Night Widows, but it's growing on me. I'm going to try to finish Leonard and Hungry Paul today. What a sweet novel! Hope your trip went as well as it could go and that you were able to accomplish everything you needed to do.
The Life Impossible sounds like one I would enjoy. I haven't read The Midnight Library because so many people seemed to not like it. Perhaps I'll give it a try if I like Life Impossible.
Hi Kelly. I liked Midnight Library but didn't love it. I think The Life Impossible came to me at the right time. My book group consists of a lot of retired teachers, so I think we all could identify to some degree with the main character, Grace. I just liked the theme of second chances and a new lease on life. Matt Haig isn't for everyone, and some find him to be too sweet, but I'm finding him to be more uplifting than anything else.

Hi Pat, I don’t think I’m going to pick up this Matt Haig book, I’m reading a book that has only a little magical realism and it’s starting to get on my nerves😅 I did like some of his other books though mostly the non-fiction ones. I think I will start a Claudia Piñero project of my own next year. I’ve only read Elena knows, but I found out. She also writes a lot of mystery novels, which is my thing as you might know. I hope your holiday season is going well and I make sure to ring the bell so I can get notified when your videos come out. I’ve had to search them out the last couple of weeks. Aloha friend.

I have only read Elena Knows by Claudia Pinero and although I would not really classify it as a mystery, I did enjoy it. Now, after following your videos I am eager to read more from her. Btw, I was able to get a copy of The Big Book of Christmas Mysteries. What a great book that also doubles as weight training! 😄
