It's a beautifully engaging piece. My heart yearns for / I'm imagining a longer extended mix .. maybe 7 or 10 mins :) Thank you very much for sharing :)
As a future Game-Developer and Low-Level Programmer: I confirm that making something with complete Manually can be very beautiful. But at least I make also Music, but only with a regular MIDI-Controller. I'm looking forward for your art :D Maybe will you some day make a tutorial how are you doing this?
Hi thank you for the comment! I’m not great at tutorials, I used to always write detailed patch notes in my videos, but I’m not sure they help anyone. Which part are you curious about, the modular part or how the whole thing comes together, or all of that?
@@rustyjaw Hi, thanks for your response. Because i don't really know this area. So I'm interested in everything! But I think, mostly I'm curious about the modular part, which what are starting with / why they behave in that way if you change that and these controllers, …
@ so that module in the corner with the 4 white knobs down the center is called “Maths” - I’m using it essentially as a macro controller, I have it wired to many other modules to change their values. In short, the top-most of those 4 knobs is opening/closing a VCA which, when open, allows triggers to come through that form part of the popping/twinkly sounds. The second knob down is mainly controlling the settings on the delay module. It controls the dry/wet on the delay, the amount of reverb, the brightness of the delays. The 3rd knob is wired to control the brightness and timber of the sound sources (again, just for one set of sounds in the track), and the 4th one allows more of the sounds through with more sustain. It took a lot of trial and error to set these up. I got it wrong a lot and had to make adjustments to get it to sound good (to me). I’m not see any of that makes sense to you. Hopefully it gives you an idea of what is going on.
@@drominitoketchup if you are new to modular be prepared to be confused. It took me a while to understand even the basic ideas. There are many great tutorials on RUclips though which can help immensely. Although if you already know a lot about synthesis you will learn faster.
@@Leafblighter-zz9tj yes! Unfortunately I’m really just using it for a little background decoration. I need to really dive into it more. When I try to do that , I tend to start building on it, and then suddenly I’m working on a full track.
nice, that bass was on point.

@@rustyjaw for the youtube videos, just gaming
