I feel bad for the public transit workers who have to deal with so much nonsense. They're really heroes.

Think about what they said, spent over $250,000,000.00 on just 300 security officers for 1 year. Each security officer makes roughly $60,000 a year, multiple that by 300 and it’s only 18 million. Where’s the rest of the 230 million dollars going?

This needs to be fixed NOW. Many people of Seattle depend on the public transportation and should not have to feel on guard using it.
Seattle waves its torch with pride of being environmentally conscious and yet doesn’t make public transportation a priority. Most importantly the citizens deserve to feel safe while using the public transportation that THEY paid for with tax dollars.
Seattle is in dire need of some serious changes. The leaders, including Jay Inslee should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. Completely unacceptable.

The assailant needs to be caught by police and evaluated by a psychiatrist. He should then be sentenced to time in a psychiatric ward of the jail or the general population of the jail.
It’s completely unacceptable to subject people to violence while bureaucrats kowtow to the criminal element and the criminally insane.
Why no CPL CCW citizen around? Purchase a CCW, get a CPL, get training, practice at the range, learn about gun laws and the consequences of the use of force, then start carrying for protection.There will likely be no cops around when you need one.
They should be paid 45 dollars an hour for the shit they deal with Western State Hospital can’t detain them so they all end up downtown

Time for riders to carry the non lethal cattle prods , pepper ball guns , bear spray ,wasp spray , if that doesnt work against criminal attacks then they need to bring out the finalizers.
