I know you said part 2 out of 4 (in the description) but can you please do some more in like other variations of spin like carrom bowl because you are the best teacher in RUclips so can you please make more vids and continue on the series
Sir, I humbly complain that your description of Murali's doosra action is not accurate. I agree on the part regarding the horizontal wrist position. But there is not much twist of forearm in vertical axis. The doosra is bowled by first pulling the ball along the index finger on the horizontal plane using purely wrist action, followed immediately by having the ball spun across the index finger (i.e. in the vertical plane) through combined action of downward arm motion and downward wrist motion.
@@How2PlayCricket I'm a off spinner & trying to learn this for many days.. finally I found this video useful. I am eager to know and learn how doosra comes out the hand for the Sayed ajmal & saqulein moostoaq version.. it's a great armory to have up in you sleeves. Thanks for the response. Waiting for the next video. Cheers.
I think your arm is bending more than 15 degrees. I would prefer to do doosra by gripping the bowl with thumb and ring finger. It gives you strong grip and you can flick the ball that will turn it another way without bending your arm!
My arm is actually bent 30 degree as seen in Part 4 ruclips.net/video/oxUisMpy99U/видео.html The thing is my arm does not extend but it contracts making it legal. As for the grip, your way is amazing. I tried many finger grips and others ways do work.
Can you make a video of how to get the ball spin the opposite way from off spin without a doosra? Rather a similar action like off spin but only the ball spins away from the right hander.
Any ball that moves away from the right hander from the front of the hand (not back of the hand leg break action) is considered a doosra. If your referring to a caram ball then let me know. 👍
@@shoumikmitrasarker7741 Shoumik, there are a few methods of bowling the arm ball but that is for another tutorial. Currently the best arm balls are bowled by Mohammad Hafeez and Imad Wasim. In fact there entire spell consist of arm balls. You will hardly see them spin the ball.
It's not much different from the Ajmal action, but it's a cross between Ajmal and Murali so I never showcased that action for that reason, otherwise his would be a great example.
The Saeed Ajmal method of bowling doosra was made illegal according to ICC rules. So Saeed Ajmal was banned from playing cricket by ICC for quite a long time due to which he missed playing in the 2015 ODI World Cup for Pakistan.
Hi, Thanks for the comment. Do you know the rules of throwing? It's not the bend in the arm. You can bowl with a bend in the arm. I explained this in Part 1 and Part 4. The bend if not the problem but the extension of over 15 degree is the problem. Bumra has hyper extension of around 28 degree but he is a very clean bowler because there is no extension. Watch part 4 it explains it in more detail that I'm well within the 15 degree extension law.
doosra is amazing but your action definitely looks illegal. In order to establish legitimacy, I would need you cleared by the mcc labs, the same place that banned saeed ajmal and declared him a chucker.
Yes, the best 2 of the 3 best bowlers of the doosra. A real eye opener
Mashah Allah. Very good explanation. Good teaching skills. Keep it up.
Thank u bro I'm a off spinner now i now what o was doing the mistake whenever I was bowling the doosra
Can u teach me bro?
Thank you. You have done a thorough study. Well done.
Glad it was helpful!

Yes waiting for the summer UK season to start before I do more videos. Batting video coming this week.
You have seen part 3 and 4 right?
brilliant video! thank you
Awesome information. I’m not a bowler but found this very interesting.
Mashallah good work 💕💕
how to increase speed along with offspin and doosra
Your videos are very good. Informative. Instructive. Please don’t stop. Keep it up.
Is it better to bowl off spin with no thumb on the ball? Does it act as a sort of rudder preventing extra revs on the ball?
I don't see how the thumb on the ball acts as an advantage. It can only hinder the ball from spinning big in my opinion.
How can i fix my leg spin. My leg spin gets good bounce but no spin and i am not consistent in pitching it full

That is a future video which I'm going to try and do in slow motion.

@@How2PlayCricket i meant close to arm bowl. Just that the bowl goes straight and does not turn but with a classical off spin grip.
