Good morning Lewis, what a fabulous running session, you're a true master of filming your railway, you always make me feel I'm there. The standard 4 is one of those engines that some up power and strength of steam. Merry Christmas Lewis to you and all yours, thank you for all of the entertainment this last year. Eddy xx
Hi Lewis I have one of these small locos ivate class 2 L.M.S. they nick named them micky mouse, smashing little loco it looks the the part on your layout such a nice loco. great shot of the 9f going through the station while 2mt [ little] was waiting for him to pass nice video again Lewis thank you.
Merry Christmas Lewis. I really enjoy your videos and I always think as I watch, that one day my layout will be this good. Mine is still not built but I'm working on 2x 4ft by 2ft scenic sections whilst waiting to move into my new and hopefully more permanent home. Cheers!
excellent video Lewis a pieaseur to watch those engines pulling away always sounds awesome well done matey really enjoyed it thanks for sharing , stay safe and a merry xmas to you a t b syd👍👌
Well Lewis, great to see you back! Just once, wouldn't you love to see a passenger actually board a carraige on your platforms? Maybe someday... A wonderful Christmas and holiday season to you, Lewis, and all those holding forth in the comments section!
Snow would fall a few weeks before Christmas in the 1960s. I'll forgive the lack of a Santa Special headboard, because it probably hadn't been heard of at that stage. Merry Christmas, and good on you for using a 9F for the goods train. Sometimes, a goods train consisted of only one type of mineral to be delivered, like maybe 12 coal wagons for example. Nice to see the bigger railway in action. Deck the sheds with engines steaming.
Great video as usual. I love the 9F, one of the most German-like British locomotive. The 2MT looks very nice, seems to be a good model. Does she have a good pulling power ? Hornby had been in an out on this point those last years, hope they get better on this, their recent 9F, at least the one I have, seems good on this point for the most recent example manufactured.
Got hauled by a BR Standard Class 4 yesterday on the North Norfolk Santa Express. The grandchildren loved it. So did I.
Ah brilliant 😬 Glad you enjoyed it.
Happy Christmas Lewis, thanks for continuing to make great videos that make us think we are there!

Thanks Olivier! The most I’ve had the 2MT pull is 12 MK1s which it handled no problem. Can’t ask for much more than that 😬
good vid on channel nice layout keep up the good vids thanks lee
Thanks Lee 👍🏻
My Goodness they’ve got big spiders in Yorkshire 🥴 And it’s great to see you’re back up in the loft Merry Christmas
Ha thanks John. Merry Christmas!
Nice to see train stretching their legs or should that be wheels on the old layout again, does anyone else run and maintain it when your not there?
Yes definitely! No but it seems to hold up okay, the track could probably do with a clean though I think 😬
How about a 'Santa Special' hauled by a Black Five (you know why...)
I don’t have any Black Fives 😬 I do have one of the new ones pre ordered though 😉
Your busy routes still need a buffet car lol
Good point!
first class a1
Thanks 👍🏻
English model railways the best in the world, so realistic
Thanks 😀
