We have the 2012 model of the Rimini which is not a lot different to the new model layout wise. It also has a clear window in the washroom. I dont know if the blinds are still the same but we have a flyscreen running in the same track as the blind. The blind lifts up and the fly screen drops down and they click together. With the fly scteen in place you cant see in but if you want more privacy you can have the blind and screen 50/50
Hi Dan. Been following your videos for a year or so now. Really enjoy watching your videos. I was hoping to get to the NEC myself to check out the new Bailey Pegasus GT70 Brindisi but unfortunately due to work commitments I can't make it. However I would love to see and hear your thoughts on it. Cheers Kevin PS: Keep up the great work.
Interesting that the Pegasus range have a window in the washroom whereas the top range Unicorns don't. The no no for me on the Rimini would be the loo cassette is accessed from the back of van. Many Euro sites you could be up against a hedge. But overall I'm liking the Pegasus range more than the Unicorn this year.
Is there a standard for build quality of caravans? I have seen old bailey caravans that have used substandard materials and haven't weathered well. Has there been an improvement? How do you know what you are getting in terms of build quality? Serious question!
Another brilliant video from Dan I really like all his videos and I think he really should have been a presenter he’s so good at it! Personally I really dislike any caravans from Bailey, I mean what an ugly looking van and it’s definitely going to date very fast most of the units from Bailey always do this is not the sort of caravan I would want on the back of my Audi allroad car, Might be fine for some people but not for me, Especially at the price this is sold for . a sterling Eccles or swift Challenger would be much more long-term sensible option and it definitely is a lot more easy on the eye and more automotive looking
I need one of these! 🙄
Thanks for the video. I like watching the reviews of various 'vans - it gives me a 'caravan fix' 😉 x

What's the external toilet hatch for? We've never had one on any other caravan but it's on our new bailey pegasus

I think it's lovely. Granted the back looks a bit like it's been in an incident, but you are right, who looks at the back
They always say that caravaners are friendly but I didn't realise that waving to each other whilst on the toilet was a Thing :)
haha, spot on.
Apparently you can request a clouded window if you feel unsociable.
Take care
Dan
