- My Nephew just got his Leshiy 2 in 25 cal. He is very excited and so am I as we finally get to hold, shoot, test and review this work of art and the most awesome gun I have ever held.

@Edgun I feel that I have been let down by Ed and his team. I pre-ordered the Leshiy 2. 2500EUR. Waited 8 months for delivery. Then 3 months later I have to spend a 700EUR to bring it up to spec. The pre orders we're given what could be called a beta model. Ed doesn't care about this at all. Neither does Francisco.
@@riaandewinnaar5040 Are you talking about the EAR system? You bought it before it was released? If that is what you're talking about, I feel your pain and find it absurd they're charging that much for people who already purchased the older non-repr version. I still haven't purchased the new EAR regulator out of protest.
Not to mention all the accessories for this gun are ridiculously overpriced. One benefit though is it pushed me to 3D print every accessory I have for this thing, including my own handguards that look just like the $300 ones they sell.
I'm hoping if I can save money on all other accessories for this gun I can purchase the EAR system and it won't sting as much.

My nephew is still in seventh heaven with his Leshiy. Did you see the video of us shooting at 100 yards? I must admit that I did not think it would be that accurate at 100 yards. Great little gun. Best of luck.

I totally can relate to story about Ted and Edgun. I've had a couple of FXs before ever hearing about Edgun. When I saw Ted with that Matador...I knew I was witnessing a new era in air rifle ingenuity. I will be picking up a Leshiy 2 for sure. Liked and subbed!

The Leshiy 2 is high on my "got to get list" 🙂 I do allready have way to many airguns but a small compact lightweight semi auto as a complement to the K1 shure would be nice. 😁 Like I commented on your last video I won't hound you if you get another airgun. 😉. It is fun to see and hear your excitement when playing with this amazing gun.

One of the best thought out airguns on the market. You gonna pay up for it but it is worth every cent ya pay for it. Very versatile too

Cool lil gun. Would make a great truck gun. For the money I'll take the P-40, I still have buyers remorse for buying the LCS SK-19 even though it is incredibly accurate and very robust. I'm more comfortable spending under a grand anymore for a pellet gun. Congratulations to you guys on the new gun. It really is very cool.
What's the regret with the LCS? Just the price?

The EDgun Leshiy 2 is a step forward in modern PCP design. The Leshiy 2 is hammerless and uses a new valve that allows consistent dwell time regardless of regulator pressure. This system allows for rapid opening and closing, and the user no longer has to worry about wear and tear with higher regulator pressure requiring a heavy hammer strike on the valve stem. Canadian version comes with a longer 350mm Lothar Walther barrel with Valkyrie aluminum handguard, full picatinny rail on top and bottom rail and muzzle brake. Thanks for watching.

IMO it needs higher scope rings or a down angled swivel because you might get a stiff neck from hunching so low to see through the scope.

You 100% correct on everything. I have 2 Edguns . .25 Layla and matador. And I would trade them for a fx impact with out a second thought because Bryan at Edgun west is hard to get a hold of now days. Can't even call him anymore. He's to busy but those guys at Utah airguns pick up every time so I order from them now days
i agree. Ed needs to get a second distributor in the US so that Bryan would have to step up his game, Right now he has a monopoly and it shows in his customer relations, Thanks

Lol I have 2 pcps that I’m dying to get my hands on.. Very nice review. The FX dynamic is an interesting one. I have 8 in multiple setups, love them all and eagerly awaiting the Panthera 700mm/.30. All that said, I have this gun as well and love it, if you are an FX guy, its worth having an EdGun as well, feels totally different and awesome. Will it replace an Impact .35...nope, but it will give me a unique experience I can't get anywhere else.
I just purchased my most wanted gun ever. It is the Edgun Matador Rm3 in .22 cal. I wanted the original Matador but the single shot did not sit well with me and by the time I decided to get the Rm3 it had been replaced with the Rm5 and could not be found. I finally found one on eBay. Lucky me. Thanks.
The problem with edguns every one wants them and edgun is a small family business and like you say Ed likes to put out a great gun am in UK and still waiting to get one a lot of people in UK are going to edgun Spain to try get one faster your nephew lucky guy the only thing wrong with it but this me being adjective is its no target gun but its a great pesting gun hope you and your nephew have lots of fun with it and you can add so mutch to it just a great gun all the best from Scotland aarron 🏴🙏👍

Wasn’t that originally made in USA the Leshiy 2. Or was it always Russia. is it a service are in the USA that service them. I’m in the market. Thinking about the Leshiy 2 or the FX panthera in the compact hunter model with the folding AR15 stock. Great review thank you

Nice vid Aaron. I bought a leshiy 2 from Spain after a very wait and tons of emails it came, I was so excited to start using and enjoying it it is well engineered and the concept of being semi auto is great but for me I thought the trigger was appalling. Its a high end airgun with a low end trigger. Maybe its me I desperately wanted to like and get used to the trigger but never did so I moved it on.
I really did not shoot it enough to notice the trigger. Is it adjustable? In the upcoming video we took it to the range and it was spot on. Check the next video. Thanks

I'm gonna say around XMAS, and you will have this in a 177 cal lol I saw that look and that smile when you shot it. Love the video, just wondering if its regulated and can the power, (and the reg) can be adjusted Happy shooting
The price tag is too much for me. Yes, it is regulated and can be easily adjusted. But why touch it when Ed has already made all the adjustments it needs. Thanks.
Still waiting on parts to shoot mine. Mine got sent with the wrong barrel and reg pressure set to the moon. 220 bar is a little high for 22 I think. 1300fps with a 14.3 pellet out of a .25 barrel.
That sounds like a quality control problem to me. I don't know about their repair department here in the US. But if you are here I wish you luck. Let me know how it turns out. Thanks.
@@aaroncantrell8819 I got a new barrel and was asked to send back the wrong one. Took over a week to receive the new one and moved the regulator to 90 bar and now am shooting 650 fps with 15 gr pellets

The Steyr pro x cost $2,571 at Krale which is more than the Edgun. So, no I did not mention it for that reason. However let me know if you get one. Thanks.

Great gun Just a bit out of my price range with all i got already , But i am just about to get a FX Crown .30 Cal That will be my last rifle as i dont think i need anything else ! UK
.30 Cal? What are you hunting... wild boar! A powder burner would be much cheaper. Don't get tricked into using slugs. Thanks.
@@aaroncantrell8819 Hi Aaron thanks for reply . i have been shooting .22 in air rifle and LR for over 30 years and i thought it was time to change calibre as i wanted a change . i have been shooting .25 cal and i must say i love it great hitting power . then i bought a 30.cal priest rifle it is short and compact and i am shooting 50.15 grain pellets at 52 foot pounds and when i hit the vermin they 100% go down with a loud bang. this rifle is safer for me as the travel of the pellet will not go as far as a .22LR would so i use more air rifles for hunting than powder burners. the reason for the crown is that smooth twist barrel trust me they work very very well i had one on a Rapid 7 in 20 cal but i sold it and now i wish i never did so that is why i am going for the crown . it is meant to be a 75 foot pound rifle out of the box with a 20mm moa rail for log distance shooting . i am still using pellets as they are still doing the job and i have not found a slug that works well in my rifles as we cant get the selection you can in the USA.
And i wish i could go wild Bore hunting as i do have the equipment to do the job.

No. Compared to my other guns the Leshiy2 and the M40 sound like shotguns. If you are interested in one I hope you can hear one in person before you purchase it. Best of luck.
I like the platform. The only thing I can honestly say I don't like about it is shot count.
Put a 0.35 bottle instead of the bottom resevoir and you will have enough shoot to carry.
I agree and to get the count up you need to purchase a carbon fiber bottle. Also it is loud for a top of the line PCP. Thanks.
AARON: I will match U shot for shot with my P-rod that I paid $230 for a couple yrs ago. It is my backdoor gun, which means if it shows at the back door DEAD!!!

The Leshy 2 intrigues me, but it has a low shot count and being a semi auto, you will need a bottle attached to your back.
It all depends on what you are hunting. for squirrels, racoons, rabbits, etc, I don't think you will ever shoot 35 times during a hunt. If you target shooting you will have your tank with you. so i don't see a problem. Thanks.
@@aaroncantrell8819 I have permissions like you and I have days when I have had over 80 shots and had to leave for lack of air. Now squirrel hunting 35 would be plenty.
I prefer my M3 or My Rattler .357
I was skeptical at first when I got my Leshiy 2 but I dropped a ground hog at 99 yards with it. Mine is a .22 caliber. It's in one of my summer videos.

Size in this case is not an issue. This gun is as accurate and powerful as a longer one. Also they do sell it with a longer barrel Thanks. .
Gotta disagree with you on this semi auto path Aaron. I have owned 2 Hubens and an SK19. Sold them all. Semi autos are loud and air dependant to cycle reliably. Even a small leak can make them unreliable. I would never own a Leshiy 2 though I can afford it. No reliable parts or service anywhere in the US. The Leshiy Classic was short reliable, easy to maintain. When properly silenced, the Leshiy 2 is none of the above. What happened to all your talk about safety and the wrong direction of airgunning? The $$ got you.
You mention the one downside I am concerned about: "No reliable parts and service in the US". Also the noise is a problem for me (not really backyard friendly). Thanks for your comment.
Fx guns seem a little problematic and picky for me. Especially at their price point.

Nope, they include no spare orings. Cost 14euro for a plastic bb ball. Orings 29euro. Insane.
New buyers beware. This is edgun's golden egg.
Want an externally adjustable regulator 300euro.
This came with o-rings and its seems that there are plenty of golden egg guns out there. I don't know why the gun would need a new regulator because it worked fine for us. Thanks
@@aaroncantrell8819 The o-rings received is for the transfer plugs only. The full set is not included. It is 29EUR for the o-ring set. The internal regulator is a pain in the butt to tune for accuracy and harmonics. You test speed and accuracy, dump the entire reservoir, test dump, test dump, test dump. Do this x50 a day... The pre-order received the beta phase Leshiy and now have to fork out another 300eur to receive the externally adjustable regulator, another 500eur if they want the new forward plug. These pre-orders helped complete the project.
The internal regulator is fine if you don't have multiple calibers or sub 12ft/lb only or the gun is a wall flower.
