Drooling over your own character is the most natural thing to do in FFXIV.
Every so often I get new gear, I look at the idealized version of myself and go "Damn I look badass!"

I have so many screenshots of my character and have a dedicated folder with all my faves lol

I really hope he doesn't feel obligated to hold back MSQ for his main stream. Seeing him still stuck in post HW hurts and he should progress with the game if he wants to.
I think he already reached the very beginning of stormblood. He mentioned he'll be continuing msq possibly in february
Wdym "stuck"? He is actively progressing through 8-man raids and other content, not just running around the Gold Saucer.
@@icipher6730 I haven't been following, has he been doing all the side dungeons and all the raids/trials as well before moving on to the next expansion? I feel like if anyone can appreciate the lore significance of doing so it's him
he isn't stuck he is doing ALL of the content of each xpac that means all the post content and extremes he wants to experience all that not just prog through main story
I really wish I had enough people backing me to experience all of the content like that.
It's a lot harder for a normal person to get a static that wants to do EVERYTHING lol

The story and the ambient are great but the gameplay is so boring to me, i've just ended heavensward with a paladin and don't feel like to continue, even tho i'm curious about shadowbringer and endwalker...
Gonna be honest, I felt the same when I played Gladiator/Paladin at first when Heavensward was new, switched to Samurai in Stormblood, never went back to tank. Maybe try a DPS, it was certainly more fun for me.
*It really is, also you choosing a Paladin was the worst idea EVER, they have the longest GCD the slowest gameplay and add that to the top of FF14's natural slow gameplay you will pull your hair, i'm gonna be honest it does not get better, you just get more skills to use in between your GCDs at higher levels and that's it, the gameplay stays the same sadly that's the nature of Global Cooldown which sucks.*
@@aaronastra7938 which other job do you suggest? i tried the samurai and it's a bit better. Anyhow i will continue playing this game in between Halo 3 lobby waiting, kinda fun this way.
@@ghevisartor6005 Red Mage, Dragoon, Nonja and yes Samurai is fun too.
But out of all of them i'd say Red Mage is probably the most fun to play job in the game.

That's just another hot bar. You can make it big and the empty slots invisible, then put skills on it a second time.

I think he often did some Daily roulette lvling and alliance raids , I think that's why

to me it feels it's easy to level when you don't rush the msq and you take your time doing other things
Wish the heavy armors and two handers didn't look so plasticky
Alot of the armor textures are scuffed, but there are some that look like genuine metal even when dyed crazy colors
It gets better as expansions go on. More metalllic. More rustic. More worn out. You can tell the difference when comparing armor starting from Shadowbringers and Endwalker to previous ones. A good example of the new looks is when you look up the Cryptlurkers tank set from shadowbringers. Or the paladin’s Endwalker set. Cloth and leather also got the same treatment.
As opposed to WoWs pristine state of the art graphics and textures?
Theres gonna be huge difference in terms of quality and details in lvl 80-90 armors.

Meh, looks better than 90% of the people I pass by in Limsa if I'm being honest, even though he's pretty much just wearing the DRK level 60 set with the spriggan hat. Besides, you have to consider that he comes from WoW. WoW players have way, way lower standards for their character's appearance than FF XIV players typically do (save for those in Limsa who have no standards whatsoever) because even the ugliest characters and items in XIV are still several times better looking than the average player character on WoW.
