RideOut 2023 - Part Deux | What a great day with old and new friends!

Given that I drag my arse from Liverpool (in really inclement weather) all the way to Cornwall I think an evening of entertainment after the ride would be excellent. Really enjoyed the day chaps.

Unfortunately it was myself and my dad who were the two that ended up awol 😅 doh! That aside it Was a super ride out. Covered 170 miles by the time we got home. 😊

Sorry I couldn't come. I had a cycle accident on 4th June broke my arm and collarbone. Went to RCHT four times to fracture clinic, and had to keep my arm in a sling until Aug 16th when the docs told me I could take my arm out the sling and start physio. But I had an appointment book as a second opinion at the Duchy the next day. The consultant said they missing my dislocated shoulder so I've been like this for nearly 12 weeks by now.
Urgently got referred back to RCHT for a shoulder operation which took 8 hours including recovery. My arm was rebroke and plated along with my ball joint humerus head.
No been five weeks since op still in a sling recovering, next visit 11th Oct when I hope I can start physio for good. So a disaster for me this summer obviously can't ride my Tiger 900.

Me and Misses had a fab weekend and enjoyed meeting you all! Thanks for the organised ride it was really good and nice to meet you and others who appreciating your hard work. Also took your route advice and went out early Sunday for a fantastic 3hrs round lower Cornwall. (She's already agreed (dates permitting) to go next year) so look forward to another great excuse to ride.
