- If you've managed to save £1,000. Congratulations. That is a lot of money to have to be ready to invest with. Getting into Property Investing is not easy and funds are going to be needed. I'm not going to tell you what you want to hear but what you NEED to hear. I'm breaking down what I would do and what YOU can or should do!
I've been property investing in the UK for over 10 years now and I've manage to scale a multimillion pound property company but I started by getting my first £1,000 just like you.
IF you've got anymore questions about anything then drop me a message on instagram @JamieYorkAspire and put "RUclips" so I know where you've come from and I'll reply to all of them.
As always this should not be taken as financial advice it is just my thoughts.
Make sure you subscribe to the channel so you don't miss my latest video! / jamieyork
Mate your a flipping legend I’m 19 and I’ve just saved over 1.5k and I’m going up from here !
Thanks bud. Glad you’re getting value. Keep smashing it 💪
Well done🥳!

I am glad I come to this comment section, I'm being motivated to start investing in Bitcoin please how do I contact Mrs Jane
Mrs Jane is a great personality in the state, I trade Bitcoin with her while my wife trade stock with her, both are profitable but Bitcoin is higher
Your videos are so level headed. I proper get the sense you care about people and want the best for them and that's amazing. It makes such a big difference because you give people a reality check and relax their anxiety. Thank you.
Thanks Lucia, really appreciate the feedback ❤️
A tip: watch series on KaldroStream. Been using them for watching a lot of movies lately.
@Emmitt Silas Definitely, I've been watching on kaldrostream for since november myself :)
@Emmitt Silas Yup, been using kaldroStream for since november myself :)

Someone with just 1k probably won't own their own home, so putting it into a "help to buy" isa and getting that 25% bonus is surely a must. If you buy well on your first house, (the right upcoming area or something that you can add value too) you will be able to borrow more at a later point to create your first deposit.
That’s a great suggestion!

Another good video man! I get frustrated with people out there make it sound like these amounts are no big deal. £1000 is defo something to be proud of, end of!
Thanks James! 100% £1k is a mega amount of money and you should be so proud of that!
i cannot lie ive watched a tone of bullshit videos on RUclips but you Jamie gave me the insight what i actually need to do thank you very much left a like and definitely subscribed with the notifications on.
On point. I know so many people who earn more money than I have, that drive cars they can't really afford, wear coats that are a mortgage payment etc They all think I earn a fortune, but I don't. I have just managed my money well and used it to multiply. When I eventually get a nice car it will be paid for my my passive income, not on finance. Keep it up JY
Smart lad
LOVE THIS KEIRAN!
That's how to do it mate, take note people take note!
i love the no bullshit approach - straight up to the point and i defiantly like people like you as i believe its the best way forward // thank you for making me understand more
Awesome :)
A video on what you’d do with £50k would be great for when we eventually get there
Good suggestion
Thank you for telling the truth. I was about to start R2R as I was told no money down. During the process I found that it required money. So thanks for that.
You're very welcome :)
Been following for a few months now and this video is what should be pinned at the top of your feed if it isn't already - I came to the same conclusion myself (i.e. put my money into an S&P500 ISA) - whilst I have aspirations of getting into the property market, in reality I'm so far off being able to due to both a lack of 1) money and 2) experience. That said, hope to one day be able to look back on this as the beginning
Love this comment! Good luck Adam, You've got this!
I love your no BD approach. I totally agree with GRS. Great channel mate
Glad you enjoy it!
Best video about getting started. THANK YOU for being real and saying what needs to be heard.
I've just got to the stage where it has donned on me that my current career path is not going to do me well in retirement! I love my current job but I'm fully aware I need to do something different to be able to live the way I really want to when I retire! I'm also sick of being told when I can take my holidays with the family! Haha! So here I am looking into property (been wracking my brain thinking about what I could do to get passive and sustainable income!) I attempted stocks and shares when everything crashed when the pandemic hit, and have had some success (not much so far tho) but looking for something else. I have loved watching your videos so far and this one has really clarified some things for me. I'll continue watching your videos and gather as much info as I can so I can make informed decisions down the line! I appreciate you taking the time to make these free videos because it's so hard to sift through all the crap online! Thanks so much! 😁
You've got this! Keep going!
You seem an honest dude, thank you, liked and subscribed!
I appreciate that! Honestly is the best policy! Thanks!
Make, Manage & multiply money. That's my new motto in my financial life. I recently started a direct debit which goes out exactly on my pay-day straight into my ISA. That way I don't have any chance to spend it. Thanks for all your financial and investment advise.
Amazing thing to do!!
Do you have a video on a how to step by step of deal packaging / sourcing ? Would be really helpful for starters like myself 👍🏻

I do! ruclips.net/video/cvSfvt_BVTI/видео.html
I like your honesty on the no money bit
Thankyou!
Thank you. I needed to hear this. I’m set to have £1000 invested in my trading 212 account by Christmas and I’ve constantly been feeling like that’s a very small amount of money. I watch a lot of investment portfolio videos and the people in them have 20k+ invested. One of them has 250k invested, so that’s most likely why I feel like my soon to be £1000 is inadequate.
the easiest way to build that initial pot of money up is to do more hours at your job
how are you doing now
Good advice, I like that you don’t try to be instantly likeable, you are somewhat unlikeable and that’s fine
Erm, I think that's a compliment? haha! Cheers
@@JamieYork so finding an investor for a joint venture wouldn’t be an option?
Thank you for your advice and sharing your experience to People like me that just have £1000 but planning to do GRS. Thank you
No worries mate, really glad it's added value you to! :)
what's GRS?
Amazing videos! You've absolutely changed my entire thought process. Future looks a lot brighter now!
Thank you so much for doing these videos. It's so great to hear such realistic advice/opinions! I follow a few investing and general financial education channels, but you're my first property subscription! Woo!
Woooohooooo! First property sub! The only one you need 😉 Kidding, not kidding! Hope you get some massive value!
Love this video just turned 17 interested in property investment in the future and really liked this video thanks!
Best of luck!
If I was 17 and knowing what I know now i wouldn't be working thats for sure, money be working for me
Look at passive incomes from shares 😉
@@DonDon-df5ie yeah I do virtual stocks atm as my parents won’t open a custodial account and I’m not 18
Quality video mate, only fella I've heard being so frank about you having courses that you want make money from. Do get the sense that your info is really genuine and you wana help people, will be watching a lot more to start my property journey so keep it up brother!
Thanks mate! It baffles me why so many others seem to want to hide this! It's nothing to be ashamed of if you're adding as much value as possible!
Glad to have you on the channel mate, really hope you enjoy the content!
@@JamieYork well that’s it though init mate, a lot of these geezers do have a reason to be ashamed of what they’re promoting. It’s a lot of pressure sales tactics for minimal info with a lot of these geezers on RUclips.
Keep doing it exactly how you’re doing it bro, it’ll take you far further. Nice one brother
Great advice. Managing and making money is very important. Slowing developing my IT business in the UK so this resonates with me.
Fantastic!
Love this video! Just brought my first home for my family in London and all my funds are spent lol. But defo want to get into property in the future so I’m working and saving up to 10k then gonna look at possible options but this made me realise even more that it is a waiting game!
Hi Jamie, Loving the content so far, Im currently 20 and potentially looking at investments, I have around £2000 in savings and think the truth about how to make money at the beginning is the management of my money, Was really detrimental to myself by unnecessary spending
Glad you got some value from it!
hello, any updates so far? How's things going? I'm in a similar situation and would love to know how did things go for you? Thanks!
@@teenify409 Things are going quite well, in a much better financial place than i was a year ago, Most of my money has been put into investing in cars, I have deep mechanical knowledge so have invested in older cars and fixing and restoring them, so thats my current situation
@@Zikhr Nice! Good to hear that, I've been looking at quite a lot of property investing videos and have yet to find a way to start networking with others. Do you have any clue on how to network? I have a lot of time as I'm still young but as I dont have much value in this industry that I can offer to others, I find it quite hard 'asking experienced people for help'. If there's any opportunities, I would love to network with people who's also in a similar situation or just starting/working towards their goals in obtaining their first property, etc. Thankyou for replying btw. : )
@@teenify409 Happy to network with you if you wanted :)
I'm so glad youtube recommended your channel to me. 😌
I've just spend the last hr watching your videos. Amazing content!! Any recommendations on books??
I have £20,000 but because I'm 22 and single, I can't get a mortgage. How can I buy and rent out my first home???
Love this guy! Simple, honest, and down to earth. Glad I found him.
Great video! Not comparing yourself to others is great advice, also target saving/investing in %’s rather than £’s is another tip i’d give... that way when your earnings increase your savings/investments grow in parallel
Absolutely!!
Really liked your wisdom . Thanks . Busy getting training and just realising that I am good at sourcing .
Excellent!
Do you do one on one advice Jamie? I'm a ( 76 yr old ) Brit living in Spain, we own our own house here and in Feb will have access to £80K...maybe a bit more. We would like to generate about £500 per month.....suggestions please?
Kindly with examples explain make, manage and multiply. Property wise pls.hoping for your next video explainig this in really great detail
I'm 18 and I can honestly say I didn't realize this is the video I need to watch to help me find my path- a sub and like good sir.
You're very welcome :)
Excellent video, Jamie!
Thank you.
I keep watching your videos and getting interrupted by adverts from this property guy, Jamie York!
😂
Haha, brilliant! Love that! Good to know my ads are getting to the right people 😂
I suspect his answer, before watching is: buy an iphone.
Edit: I was wrong.
It would be great to see a video on different ways to fund starting. By that I mean Jamie's comment about credit cards, does that mean business loans are viable?
Haha! an iPhone! That is were I should of gone
Love your attitude - maintain your own assets without using other people's money!
Thank you for making this video Jamie, I'm not sure if my previous request for it helped it come to fruition. Great strategy and I'll follow through with your advice!
I would have been! I make sure to try make as many videos as I possibly can from suggestions!
What is a good first job in property to help build up any sort of knowledge around property investment? My long-term objective is to invest in property's but I currently lack the funds as well as the experience and knowledge of the property industry. I think a job in property would allow me to a) save up more money and b) enhance my knowledge of property as a whole. It's just choosing the right job that is the difficult part. Thanks.
I Subscribed because i really liked your approach and helpful insight
Thanks Kannie, glad you got value!
Finally! A UK based property investment channel that gives no fluff information! Great video, is there anyone here who live in Kent and would be interested in partnering up? More capital means better equity means more profit cap potential! 💪🏼
👏🏻 that was worth the Watch. Managing my money 🙈👍
You can do it David!
Absolute bang on the money with this advice pal.

Really appreciate this advice. Thank you mate 👍🏻
Happy to help!
straight to the point ,no B.S
Great advice mate!
Thanks dude 💪
this is absolutely gold. great content.
Thanks :)
I think getting into property now is just so difficult.... prices are sky rocketing and it’s a buyers market for those who already have the money. My family are in the property business and having just purchased my first property I wouldn’t have been able to without the help of being on a large salary and having a massive deposit thanks to parents otherwise it’s nearly impossible... but anyways great videos keep up the good work nothing is impossible
It may seem like that with the prices where you live. Take a look further away from you.
Theres cheap property to be had all over the country, think small university towns, small seaside towns. It may feel uncomfortable but it’s only a case of getting in the car and getting a hotel for the night to view the area. Then you can always use video calls to check in on contractors doing any renovations, if they’re not happy to video call then maybe they’re not the contractor for you
Thanks for comment! There will be great deals everywhere! You just need to find them!
@@JamieYork love your videos anyway keep
Them up!
your content is genuinely excellent.

This was stunning as always, thank you Jamie. At the moment I am in the research and education phase, I can definitely say that I have learned a lot from your youtube channel about property investment and drawing houses! Also getting a mortgage is just so fucking long now lol took me 4 and a half months to get my lending and I had allllll my paperwork bank statements etc in order
Was this through a Broker??
@@JamieYork nope
Directly with Coventry building society they offered the best terms ( bought house in NW London )
Might of been easier going with a broker. I work in a mortgage broker in London and we do most of the work for you and chase up with solicitors etc
Government better start paying you to get your courses in schools 🏫
Haha, how cool would that be!
@Jamie York so you advice to do deal packaging? Finding investors?
hi jamie just started to watch your videos

When the student is ready the master will appear.
I have £10,000 rn. I've never invested in my life and I'd like some advice from you if that's okay. So there's a flat on a very long lease for £95,000. It's a one bedroom flat with me thinking of changing the living room into another bedroom. With potentially putting each bedroom on £500 rent per month. How should I go about getting a loan for that place and how do I put it on rent, including the legal stuff relating to it??? Btw it's my first time seeing this channel and I did subscribe. And may I also say the property was built in 2006 so it's in very good condition
