Hi Andy😌🙌Love the greenhouse😃👏💞You have a large collection there. Astrophytums are growing well aren't they. I saw a Melocactus, so it must be no colder than 15℃ there in Australia in Winter. Are you in Melbourne? Perth? The Cymbidiums are beautiful!😌🙌💖I have one that I made it through August😬👍The Dendrobium looks like kingianum. I love the fragrance.
Newcastle area NSW. Close to the ocean so It wont go down below 5 and 7 degrees C a few days in winter, however not for many days. It does get down to zero C only 30 minutes drive inland in the Hunter Valley. I keep most pretty dry through winter. The Dendrobium was a small cutting I purchased from a lady on Gumtree sales nearby, it does smell nice. We got a lot of rain this winter and not too cold. The greenhouse keeps most my cacti happy and dry when it's cold. I have some bigger Trichocereus and a monstrose variety, some big Cereus Repandus and aloes out in the weather. They don't seem to mind the extremes in weather. It gets very hot in summer. Some bad days with Westerly winds get 40 degrees C. Fortunately not too often.
