I hope his wife's health is improving, he's a unique player and human being. Great also to see Reb, a very humble guy like a Morse and a also very good player. Maybe Reb will endorse Ernie Ball.
@@blndrckr His wife, Janine, has stage 4 aggressive cancer (lymphoma), and he's got arthritis in his picking hand wrist. The former is why he suddenly had to leave Deep Purple after 28 years and the former is why he plays differently than he used to when he was younger.
I often wonder, what would it be like to be the #1 electric guitar player in the world and still be just scraping by? It would be humbling, no doubt, and you'd have to have a lot of patience to deal with it.

Hats off to Steve Morse but I have got to say that Reb Beach is one of the greatest guitarists I've ever seen. He has been around now for a long time. He is one of the greats..
Steve had already written 6 Dixie Dregs albums and 3 Steve Morse Band albums by 1988, when Reb released the first Winger album. No problem with you praising Reb, but I get the feeling you haven't heard much of Steve's music.
@@davidespinosa1910 You "get the feeling" I haven't heard much of Steve's music ? Based on what ? Because I only stated "hats off to Steve Morse" ? I've been listening to guitar driven music for over 54 years and have been playing guitar for 43 years and have consistently been live gigging for the last 29 of those years. I am well aware of the work of Steve Morse. Please try to keep in mind how subjective based that opinions are in regard to music and guitar playing.
Your initial comment sounded to me like you were saying that Reb had been at it longer than Steve and possibly that you considered him an equal or better guitarist than Steve which then doesn't make it too much of a stretch that perhaps you weren't familiar with Steve's early work. 😉 Maybe try some decaf?
@@tonykrch357 Regardless of caffeine intake,..Citing that Reb Beach has been playing a long time is not even remotely implying anything in regard to Steve Morse as a player or his career length.
Just Saw winger and it was my into to Reb, and damn is he fun to watch and just gets so into it. Killer player, and Steve is Steve, simply amazing even with his Arthritis
@@ChiefBridgeFuser great show. I drove in from central Ohio to catch this one. Reb showing up was an added bonus. I've been a fan of Steve Morse for many years.
Morse is a 5 yr in a row all around best guitarist ( Guitar Player) incredible , Reb Beach Also is an excellent player , his work with Winger and Whitesnake is stellar !
No wrist brace anymore? good to see. Steve has a very wrist heavy pick technique. I can see see it bothered him after playing "Too Many Notes" for so long.
Add Joe Satriani, now you have a new edition of G3. I love it when the 3 guitarists have different tone and style. We see it on this video, the difference between Morse and Reb Beach.
Wow.. Reb Beach is alive, (apparently) healthy, and is still fully competent in his chops, even if he's wearing flares. Better than Clapton. I said it.
Seems like once you’ve figured out guitar, you just know what to do. How much better is any of these guys than they were 5 years ago? 10? Etc. reb beach is overrated
Yes indeed we are all good musicians just on different playing fields 👍 😊 be humble and enjoy everything musicians have to offer its a endless learning curve 😊
Old People, Jamming Still? Not me, I'm not playing like Clown in front of Sheep... I wasted my life playing guitars...I'm done with it, Thank you for wasting my life.
Great Steve Morse,great Reb Beach
Nice work Steve and Reb.,...
Wish I was there
Nice to see Steve's doing better. I've always like him and Dave LaRue. A couple of really nice guys and class acts!

Reb Beach is an absolute beast on the guitar.
Good to see Steve playing so happy again.
Did he get booted from Purple!?!
@@humanactivated1017No. He left to care for his wife who had cancer.
Love Steve! Been a fan since near the beginning of the Dreggs.

I met Steve Morse twice and Dave LaRue once. Both guys are super friendly and down to earth. Extremely humble and patient.

Love how Deep Purple / Whitesnake musicians are intertwined forever🥰

The favorite son of Pittsburgh --- Reb Beach!
This is awesome.. grateful I stopped by
Have to mention, Steve is coming up on 69 years old and he's still slinging a MEAN axe - although Reb does have him beat on "guitar face"!
69 is not old - Jeff Beck and robin Trower never let age slow them down .

Sure is some sweet looking geetars up on that stage. MusicMan stuff is all great, and some of the Sterlings are very well built instruments.
Jeez, look at those legends, La Rue, Morse, Beach, who's the drummer? Love Morse since the 70's, man.
Van Romain
Drummer is Van Romain, I believe.
Damn, what a show!!! And ole Dave LaRue just laying down the Thunder!! Terrific!!!
Lol, very nice!!! Reb very clever when he went high on the trade-off ,He must have known Morse did not have that many frets on the guitar😂...

Reb plays a mean blues and sings great. Coors Light is definitely more inspiring than Bud Light for him. 😂
Oakmont Pa? Where in Oakmont?

Bell Bottom Blues
Do you prefer your men to wear yoga pants?..... But at least I agree he's better than Clapton, the most overrated guitarist in history.
en Whitesnake el requisito para ser parte de la banda era ser cantante, porque el que era cantante ya no canta ni madre, Grande Beach
