Finally a hotel that takes into account both how important it is to preserve the environment and also culturally sensitive towards the people and community where they operate! Really love the Circular Economy approach. Even though COVID-19 has impacted tourism in Bali a lot, I hope Mana can still thrive. Would love to stay there soon!
What an amazing eco villa, love the idea of sustainability, family oriented and giving back to the locals. The water treatment and how they manage the waste are incredible, one of the leading aspect of this villa. They are not just gaining profit but they also care of the environment and help the locals to stand up by their on feet. Can’t wait to stay there for our honeymoon and experience the hospitality of Mana Villa. Hope we can manage it soon amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Btw great video Mana 👍🏻 👍🏻 two thumbs up
The place is undoubtedly so stunning, so lovely. 😍😍😍 A homely place to leisure and find the peace within. But, for me, their values of permaculture and empowering others made it more appealing. Not only giving a comfortable stay to whoever there but also sharing so many positive things to learn together. I can not wait to stay there, knowing and learn how to take care of our Holy Mother Nature and the others with their permaculture approach. I wish all the best for all of your genuine spirit and purpose to create a new loving place - for nature, for your surroundings, and for us. ❤️🌱
Wonderfully planned and executed. It's so important to talk about such projects and make people aware about the possibilities and magic of sustainable tourism. Thankyou for taking up this initiative. As a young traveller myself, it will help me to make better choices in future and seek for sustainable options. Love from India. 🥰
Thank you for starting this series! I always struggle to find eco-conscious hotels when planning my travels and going forwards after the pandemic, I want to be conscious about how I plan my travels -- so this is a great way to start planning and getting excited about post-pandemic travels :)
~ wonderful videos guys, really pleased to see you are able to continue to flourish despite the challenges of these times. Wishing you all the goodness in the world for the new exciting initiatives, I can't wait until I am able to come and visit some time. With warmth and positivity, Harry x
During this pandemic, I started learning meditation where I need to embrace my body, people surround me and earth. Be grateful what universe gives us. And i found out Mana Ubud about their appreciation of our mother earth. Love to have experience with them ❤️
With the way things are going on in the world right now, respecting our planet is the need of the hour! The sustainable ways you have incorporated into creating this resort from efficient building to water management makes me so hopeful for the future! Can’t wait for everything to settle down so I can visit Bali again and make a visit to Mana!
A need of the hour initiative. As much as tourism is important for local livelihoods it is also important to preserve the local ecosystem. Great thought and initiative, especially the circular system. Also the initiative of creating a market place to empower local people is definitely good. All the best :) Look forward to visit Bali soon :)
The Iranian Architect, Nader Khalili is my husband favourite architect. Mana Ubud with Earthbag Villas (sustainable building concept from Nader Khalili), Farm To Table Concept and Circular Water System will be the perfect family staycation for my family. So my twin daughter can learn permaculture garden, waste water garden system, earthbag wall in this beautiful sustainable Mana Ubud Villas ❤️
It looks really great, we were planning to go there last year after you opened but obviously COVID put a stop to all that! Good on you for making a difference!
I deeply appreciate this initiative of showing the next stage of hotels in the „New Normal“. Thanks for producing such a high quality video with so many insights on the purpose, practices and next steps of this eco business. 🙏
Hi... I'm in Bali till 9th Jan 2021. Very curious with this place which is so grateful to nature and wants to return all the goodness to nature. I'm also really curious about the Playground project and the bio-pool which will be the second project later. Hopefully everything still good in this covid situation.
Great thought process behind the initiative. Is there any plan:method to offset the the amount of electricity consumed to process the waste water and also the rain water being harvested?
Glad that you asked. :)) Mana Earthly Paradise try to use solar power as much as possible. You can learn more about their eco-practice here: www.manaubud.com/eco-practices
