  • Banded Skaters - Improving Hip Control and Lower Limb Awareness
    The hips ability to control the alignment of your leg is paramount during walking, running and movement in general. The banded skater exercise is great in promoting strong leg and trunk, as well as alignment and strengthening your glutes.
    Technique Tips
    ☑️Hinge over at Hips - Lean over and keep vertical shin
    ☑️Maintain Lower Limb Alignment - Hip, Knee and Ankle in line
    ☑️Don’t compensate through trunk - while concentrating on lower limb alignment don’t let the trunk rotate or lean as compensation
    ☑️Think of the foot - keep weight evenly distributed through the entire foot (Front / Back / Inside and Outside)
    ☑️Best performed to the Nutbush 🎶
