Just did one of those ship pledge upgrades and just found out it doesn't have a quantum drive.
@@Mr_Higgs Yes they are both snub fighters, which by definition do not have a quantum drive :/ Those two are usually tied together with a Constellation class vessel but can be purchased separate. To solve: You can always melt and reacquire your original package. Or upgrade further to another ship.

@@plasmaxl8626 Yeah it represent the eagle in numerous ACTUAL variants of the Federal Republic of Germany, so yeah nice touch. If you see anything else your knowledge might be too limited and to comment might not be recommended.
We need more Kruger ships. That german vibe can create a real space-mercedes!! And these "snubs" have got something elegant in their design that would appeal to people.
I agree. The Ares ships should have been made by Kruger, because they're like scaled-up concepts of the two snubs.
What i want is a ship with interior. Doesnt have to be big, doesnt have to have Cargo grid (would be nice, even If only Like a Cutter in size)... I want a ship that is agile, classy, retro, can handle some enemies and is Just.... Style!!!!
I think Kruger would be the best company to do so.

@@TimTams_64 The Archimedes is meant to let the Phoenix owner land in his snub rather than take the Phoenix down. Not practical now. With the new planets even snubs need very short range jumps to land.
@@TimTams_64 The way SC does it they are parasite fighters. They rely solely on a bigger ship. Where as in other places snubfighters are 1-2 man fighters meant to be in a squadron. Example, the X-wing and TIE fighters are considered snubfighters yet, they still come equipped with hyperdrives. I wouldn't say we "need" quantum for planet landing. It's just more something that expedites planet landing times.

I found out the bad way. I upgraded my pledge ship to the P-72 regret it.

These have so much detail, they stand out from other ships. Its almost like RSI set the bar really high with these and they might not ever be able to produce something so beautiful again.

I've just ordered my P-72 Archimedes with Soft-close doors, Keyless-go and DistronicPlus (very handy if you are in an orbital trafficjam)

@Nick Gubler sure if you say so, but this "demo" is bigger and has more going on in than most AAA complete "games". I've had more fun and amazing experiences in this "Alpha Demo" then let's say Fallout 76, BFV, Just Cause 4, or another Anthem which were all sold as "complete games" but all were closer to demos...

It’s the BMW of Star Citizen
I need a Kruger Light Corvette. Fast, Maneuverable, PDCs, and has size 4 or 5 ion turrets in front and rear, size 5 rocket turret, a tractor beam for boarding, with only enough cargo space to support itself. A vessel with a longer range and larger radar to hunt and pursue the Polaris with. Of course, it doesn't have much armor, its Kruger after all.
When is the game fully released?

If I am not wrong, for the international market, Krüger wouldt translate with Kruger. Since it is a name it would only internationalize the "Ü" with "UE". So it would be Krueger.
It could have been Kruger to begin with. While Krüger is far more common, Krug and Kruger does exist as surname.

This still leaves me wondering when we are going to see some more ships from Kruger. Seems a tad unutual within the lore to have a ship manufacturer that hangs it's entire legacy on two little snub ships.

By the lore Kruger Intergalatic is parts manufacturer, Merlin and Archimedes are their first venture to ship manufacturing

no we don't ... at least not with current technology and RTX ... the game pushes right now many many polygons which brings the framerates already to a very low base. Halfing the framerate even further with RTX-reflections would not help.

In the Phoenix brochure the Archimedes was sold as a low profile option for landing on planets. Good luck with that unless you have a spare 2 hours.
@@robertjohnston8531 its almost as if those snub fighters are treated as merely a ship's spare tire......to be used as a controllable escape pod if the main ship malfunctions. If that's the case, such a waste of an elegant design only to be ultimately blocked by it's very limited gameplay.
Solara Solarwind It doesn't even make a good escape pod because it has weapons and thus won't carry the same level of rep damage if someone blows it up. They said there'll be serious repercussions for shooting pods.A fighter won't get that protection.

Kruger needs to come up with a transport version. Or a multi purpose one. A small cargo bay for a box or two. 2-3 seats. So crew and supplies can be delivered from space to the surface cheaply in a small package. Like a little bird of the Verse.
You'll want the Argo MPUV. Its got a cargo or passenger pod ir can mount to the belly and is basically a little bird mixed with a sikorsky sky crane.
Tarkov Mihailov I’ve seen it and it’s just unnecessarily big. It’s 50% landing struts. They could remove the legs and have a “harrier” style thrust vector with little skids. The MPUV seems both over and under engineered for its purpose and the MPUV can’t fit inside a hammerhead, HULL E, constellation etc.
There’s definitely a sweet spot to be filled.

Still dont know how Aegis got away with advertising a crime committed with their ship but I'm sure they're used to it being from the Messar era and all
a underwhelming ad for a underwhelming ship I really think unless they buff it or you have a wing of these they won't do much in a fight. I would not be anymore wary if I notice this detached from a Connie since I'm already up against a Connie

And even if they decided to just remove all weapon of the ship, you can't say that you haven't been warn : there are several messages on every ship realated page of the ship telling that all the statistics are not definitive and that they can change... The game is in development, and, as in every kickstarter, the devs are given the freedom they need to create what they want, because you are not buying you are giving. I think it's a problem that we are often looking to backer-creator relations as a classic buyers-seller relation, wich is not the case.
Now make the attack version do more damage than the racer version....
Man I'm saving up for $25k package, if it even exists. I already passed the $1k minimum.

been waiting for it for years - I've even played hundreds of hours of elite during the wait and already got bored of that.
Literally played and completed loads of games since this got announced and its still not out!
