YO THANK YOU ANYONE WHO WATCHES AND ALSO IM SORRY IF SOME MOMENTS SEEM A LITTLE CONFUSING BECAUSE I MADE THIS VIDEO with no script because I wanted it to feel more natural with what I was saying, theres probably a couple things I missed but feel I covered at least everything important. If you are a wattson player who learned something from this video though let me know 😎
I've learned a lot from your videos a long time ago and im so glad you made a full post like this. If it wasn't for your account I wouldn't have been so set on staying a wattson main over the years♡
Proud to say I was one of the 5 wattson mains in the world when i still played Apex. I just enjoyed her so much. But sadly not having servers to play on nearby drove me away from the game. 😢
@@Kasellos 200 ping just feels like too much, but ive been trying to convince my friends to start playing because cod (which has South African servers) is getting really boring. I love the game but it feels like i cant really compete
This is very refreshing. There are tons of guides that are mostly overglorified explanations of her abilities. I appreciate that you took the time to demonstrate strategies and really elaborate on what kind of playstyle Wattson is best suited for. Another W video
As a wattson player with 3k kills on her and havent stopped playing her since I unlocked her late in season 4, I noticed how rarely I use her fences from this video and I'm very grateful and appreciate you making this video (even though most of this sounds like basics), a reminder of her possibilities is always a good idea and you always learn something new regardless of skill level Thank you
one thing you didnt mention is that the time it takes for a fence to activate after walking off it is much shorter than the time it takes to activate immediately after placing it, and the activation time of walking off it takes priority over the deploy time, so if you place a fence intersecting with ur character and then walk off it, it turns on faster than if you just place it down. that’s generally pretty useless but mid fight or if someones pushing you it can make a difference. rly good video btw i cant believe i didnt know that right clicking removes fences with how much ive played wattson.
Wattson player here, I feel im already pretty knowledgeable about what she’s fundamentally capable of but you including multiple advanced applications as well as the theory and thought processes behind it helped me out a lot and makes this video relevant to all Wattson players regardless of experience level. Great video man as always :))
I love the video! Great details and fantastic tips. The aggro fence details were super helpful. I watched some other tutorials, but the details in how you would do it with the door was top tier helpfulness. 12/10 great video!
I started playing Wattson recently, and had much fun with it. Will still try to improve while playing pubs with her. My main in Bangalore. I used to main Caustic and Lifeline (upon Lifeline shield nerf) and I like controlling areas. But a lot of teammates in Apex now just rush and die off pretty easily so playing Wattson is not really worth my time. I really love your videos man. You are really good at this game.
Thanks for this guide, it was a very good guide and showcased her well. I play all Legends and get bored fast with having to ppay only one. At the moment, I am having fun with fuse, you can controll areas with him as well and his ult can be used to push, deny resets or even to retreat from enemies who push you. I know his Overall KD is the lowest, meaning most fuse players are the beer dads who wanna have some fun (which is fine), but a fuse in the hands of a good player is one of the most annoying enemies.
This was great, I have ~1500 kills with Wattson and you were my inspiration for picking her to main. I play rampart and wattson and I can confirm Wattson is the most satisfying out of those 2 at least lol
ive been watching you since i first got into a apex (so like almost 2 years now) and im proud to say u helped me find my main and helped me grow as a player so this guide helps even more ty
Appreciate this breakdown of essential tips and info. I had to learn a lot of this on my own the hard way through hours of grinding Wattson but now I can’t put her down. Great video
I've been mained Watson for months now and still learned something I never really though about the receptor had to see grenades now I know, thank you!!
I just started playing Apex a few weeks ago and as soon as I could I unlocked Wattson (knowing almost nothing about her except she was a controller and I'm familiar with controllers from Valorant) and she is literally so perfect for me. I got 30 kills with her after about 6 hours of gameplay with her. I learned quickly to place fence posts far away from doors, but never thought about using them for reclaiming space! Thank you! Great tactics I learned in this video! Will definitely be using them :D
Yup I've been a wattson main for about 3 months I fkn love her im dog water with her but getting better that's the only reason im here you just earned a sub brody
I only started playing 6 months ago or so and just began playing wattson on the reg the last few weeks. There's like 5 things i did not know about her and this is super helpful. Now to practice this knowledge 👌
Solid video bro, really appreciate all the tips. I recently got my first heirloom and it was Wattson. Everytime I come back to this video I improve. Cheers!
Currently working on getting Wattson to 100 kills, I'm new to the game and have been working on getting all legends to to 100 kills. This was very helpful.
Is Wattson for you? 1. Forces you to play a balanced game with your abilities plus guns ( as intended ). You're not gonna be given a 'free get outta jail card' and easy resets. Works wonders as you'll have to advance through your Gun Skills, Positioning, knowing and utilising your abilities thoughtfully ( and not just spam abilities) 2. Skill ceiling is one of the highest ( probably on the same level as pathfinders grapple) 3. Smaller hit box but also Low Profile ( you take 5% extra damage) so you WILL get punished if you're actually not better than your opponent. 4. Outplaying opponents is as rewarding as it can get ( at times probably even better than winning a game) 5. One of the most fun personality legends developed by the respawn team. Thank you @kasellos for this great guide. It's always fun watching you play her. I hope you keep at it. ❤️
Thanks for the guide 😇 just one question, one of my Wattson tricks is to counter Catalyst wall by putting fences along it, but I don’t know if the people on the other side can see my fence lines or not? Also I like to put fences on landing pads of the jump canons or under enemie teams that try to land on me (gotta be quick though)
@@Kasellos thanks for confirming bro wasn’t sure if the fences were visible but now I can keep doing it in confidence 😉. Us Wattson mains need to help each other the struggle is real 1🖤

I love maining odd legends like Wattson and Crypto. Just feels good to be "different". I hope I can get better at fence usage mid-fight like you! Great vids!
Just to build on what you said about using the gen for superglides, there's even mental movement players like Treeree who can on the fly drop the gen to do a wall-bounce on it. It's both great to see, and at the same time so disrespectful to the gen XD
Hi! Is Wattson a good pick for ranked? Do the fences draw all the teams to it which can create a 3rd party situation? Or is Catalyst the better choice? Thank you for this video I learned some things!

After 4K hours at the game, I am still very bad, and even though Wattson is my favorite, my only accomplishment with her is that I'm top 0.5% in fence breaches XD But it's true that I've never forced myself enough to use long range weapons because I hate them all except for the bow. But since you advised for it, maybe I'll retry one last time 🙂
I wish Wattson's ult didn't eat friendly abilities. A lot of people panic ult when they're in a pickle, so there was this time where I put the gen down when we were pushed, but my caustic and horizon had the same idea and it both got ate by the gen. Also not to mention how friendly maggy tacts can't be deployed from the inside with the ult around, but enemy maggys can? That is really dumb
I'm not sure if it's worth mentioning but doesn't the gen only destroy projectiles that will hit a surface it can see. It's a weird distinction but worth being aware of especially when using your own nades cause if you throw one close it might still destroy it. Love the vid btw
