A lot of these tackles are illegal. The player who picked up the other player and dropped her on her head would have been sent off for the rest of the match and reported to rugby judiciary. If you lift a player, then it is your responsibility to ensure they do not tip beyond the horizontal. A forearm to the throat is also illegal. In fact, any contact with an opponents neck or head is illegal. You cannot tackle a player whilst they are in the air because they are jumping to catch a ball. Also, you cannot tackle a player who does not have the ball. However, there is a bit of leeway. If you are already committed to the tackle and they pass the ball then this is allowed.
You are not allowed to deliberately grab a player by the hair. It is not only an offence it is also like a 'taboo', you just don't do it! On the rare occasion, it happens, it is shocking!
Not everything on here is legal! The two best teams are England and New Zealand. Women’s rugby is growing quickly and the best teams play a super style of it.
Also France have a very strong team. Additionally, Australia, US and Canada are in the conversation for dark horses for international honours. The US Women's team is one of three nations to be World Champions in 91.
🇿🇦South African here🇿🇦, I have an issue with trans women in female sports but I won't mind if they compete in women's rugby. But no trans will ever compete in rugby because they will be hurt. Big time.
Portia Woodman. Hands-down the greatest women's rugby player of all time. She plays for the Black Ferns of New Zealand. That's her, at the 3:05 mark.
The nz silver ferns always up there. But the goat of woman's rugby is definitely portia woodman
That no. 14 is the GOAT of women's rugby Portia Woodman
Now, these are real women. This was pretty entertaining.
