Just put one of these on an LT1. Had to grind the front of the pan where the balancer will scrape. Check out the Holley pan and you’ll notice they’ve done that for you already.
thank you for sharing that info so others know to keep an eye out for it. Maybe JCSS can show the area your referring up close. seems like a quick hit with a angle grinder w/flapper wheel would make a quick smooth fix???
@arikadams2269 by strange coincidence I built a Holley pan last night , I posted a pic on the community page before I read this, if you open the pic with the pan zoom in to the top you can see the 2 cuts
@@JustCantSitStillweird coincidence too that I went to install the factory dipstick and having lots of trouble getting it in the hole. Anyone else have this issue? It almost seems too big.

Cool never ran into one that I recall that had to be trimmed, we have had a few LT1/LT4 that was super close
