Take a chapter out of this young man's book all you so-called "Americans" and look at what an immigrant did and brought to this nation, most importantly, the reasons why!!! Very very well done young man and deeply appreciate. Thank you. ☺💕

@@brendaroelfs his parents immigrated, he's an American citizen just as much as someone born here except the fact he can't run for president if he wasn't born on the right dirt (I guess) and the fact you're trying to call out "so called" Americans just shows what actually matters to you. I hope one day you can find the kindness this young man has in his heart, have a good day, brat 🙃

What a great idea 💡!!!! It is so important to record their story because they are mostly in their 90’s. My stepdad served in Okinawa. He still has nightmares where he’s under attack and he has been reluctant to talk about it.

What sweet vets and an even sweeter boy! They look happy to retell the good memories and happy someone will be there to listen to the bad too! They all seem so thrilled that someone WANTS to hear about their stories know about their them, their brothers, and those fallen that they served with!

if you have to TEACH adults to be kind, you’re not addressing the root issue.
we teach kids to be respectful because, at their age, there is no root issue. kids aren’t CHOOSING to be unkind… adults are CHOOSING to be unkind.

    The Children Sing
    In Darkness there's a pain.
    In silent night.
A glow of shame seeps through a candle-lite.
A troubling sense, oh of days to come.
And where would we be now
if the world lived in harmony.
    The children smile and sing,
"If the world lived in harmony
    where would we be now?"
But there's a man of thirst.
    He seek no drink.
    Divides the world of skin
    and how they think.
A rising hate, oh and blood will flow.
And where would we be now
if the world lived in harmony.
    The children smile and sing,
"If the world lived in harmony where would we be now?"
    People stand idle by.
    No thoughts to share.
    A burning rage growing large
    everywhere.
The time is near, oh to make a peace.
And where would we be now
if the world lived in harmony.
    The children smile and sing,
"if the world lived in harmony where would we be now?"
    🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼
The choice is ours to make.
    Thy will be done.
To close our eyes and ignore
    the righteous flight of everyone.
Soaring so high, in our lives we love.
    We all need to stand
and live our lives in peace & harmony.
    The children smile and sing,
    "Live in peace and harmony
    together hand-in-hand."
    Peace and Harmony
    We all need to stand
    For Peace & Harmony.
    Peace & Harmony.

I thought Steve Hartman had three children. Why do you never mention his other son?

    • @christinanielsen1917
      @christinanielsen1917 6 месяцев назад

His other son is autistic. He doesn't not mention him because he's ashamed of him but to guard his privacy. I truly believe he loves all his children and you can go on line and see his son. I briefly shared an office with Steve Hartman at kcbs news on sunset and gower ( Lucille Balls first episode of I love Lucy was taped in the next room and Bob Hope's radio show, etc...) His segments were only local then. Despite being within a few feet of each other he only said hello when I first said hello to him. He was not a snob and I don't want to excuse his aloofness but I think he was nervous and climbing. It would of been nice if he at least introduced himself to me ( I had to watch him on tv to figure out who he was.) We were the youngest people there. It seems strange that a person who has an entire career pushing kindness could've been kinder. I was Harvey Levins intern. Mr Levin treated me like a doormat. This was during the OJ Simpson trial. On my first day of work 2 women and one man told me that Mr Levin was a real P*#CK. One woman told me " I feel sorry for you". I didn't know what they were talking about UNTIL the second day. Perhaps Hartmans shows on kindness couldve been applied to this monster.

His other son is autistic and he loves him but because of the child's condition doesn't include him on the air. You can Google Mr Hartman showing his son.
