Great Video! Apologies for chiming in, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you tried - Trentvorty Healthy Skin Theorem (probably on Google)? It is an awesome exclusive guide for getting rid of cold sores minus the normal expense. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my GF at last got excellent success with it.
1) Don't touch the cold sore
2) Rub an ice cube on the cold sore every two hours
3) Rub apple cider vinegar on the cold sore 3 times a day
4) Change your toothbrush as bacteria will be on it

Four points for Cold Sores
1. Don’t touch cold sore
2. Use cotton swab soaked in ACV (apple cider vinegar) swab on cold sore
3. Place an ice cube (minute or less) on cold sore every few hours
4. Throw out your tooth brush (or boil it if it's a good or new one)

As soon as you feel it , hold witch hazel on it on a cotton ball ( or whatever) and it dries it out . I do this and take L-Lysine daily. You can even mash up the L-Lysine tablet and use a tab of water, put it on it after the witch hazel .

The only thing you need to do is apply 90% rubbing alcohol on the spot as soon as you feel that tingling sensation, the sooner the better. Do this every 2 hours or so for like 2 days and it will almost never reach the blister stage. I'm 45 and got cold sores regularly since the age of 12. Tried everything under the sun until someone told me about this 3 years ago. I can honestly say that I don't think I've had one blister since. It takes about 2 or 3 days of doing this, I often don't do it every 2 hours, but usually 4-6 times per day. I wash my hands then use my finger to apply as you really want to hit it good, it should drip off your lip for a second or two. This was life-changing for me, hope it works for you too!

@@simongrimes7131 works for me, hasn't failed me yet. Just get at least 90% rubbing alcohol, put some on your clean fingertip and rub it on the cold sore area. The key is to do it as close to the time when you first feel it starting.

Also acetaminophen or Tylenol, can’t remember where I heard it…but it’s a fever blister, so taking a fever reducer helps clear up my outbreak before it gets started. If I feel an itch I’ll start taking them throughout the day and especially before bed, the next more NOTHING. Hope it helps

L-Lysine mcg 500 mcg supplement every 12 hours for a week. Avoid arginine-rich foods like caffeine and chocolate for 1-2 weeks or until it's gone. Get lots of rest and yes Tylenol. For the itch and pain, I recommend Aveeno Restoration Skin Therapy Itch Relief Balm, it has Pramoxine that gets to the nerve and stops the tingly itch and sharp pain. I hope this helps. I have a cs now and this is how I treat. The second I feel that tingly feel or see a weird white bump near my lips, I pop a L-Lysine 💊 and an Extra Strength Tylenol.
Bad Idea as acetaminophen or Tylenol is very bad for you liver especially if you drink at all.

Apply my method 😊 just take a pinch of turmeric powder and mix it with honey apply it once or twice in a day and you cold sore gets over within one day😉. One other thing I know is L-Lysine. I found out about it in a medical book years ago. A friend recommended hydrogen peroxide. Thank you for these great tips. It has been recommended by Dr. Huberman to avoid hydrogen peroxide in the mouth so I am assuming the same for on the mouth.

Guys, try applying emu oil regularly. If you catch the cold sore early enough, it's so effective! Also, I out those blemish patches on my cold sore to avoid spreading it, and I feel like it helps control it and heals it faster.

So I’ve had cold sore outbreaks since I was a kid. I’m 36 now and in the last few years I really haven’t had any. Well Thursday I was really stressed out and on my cheek all of the sudden I had a bunch of little bumps and thought great I’m so stressed I just got a cluster of pimples in one spot. It hurt to the touch which I thought was strangled but I went about my day and by bedtime it was really red. The next morning is when I realized it was a cold sore because it had that all too familiar crusty and oozing yellow stuff. So I googled cold sores on face not mouth and sure enough you can get them anywhere and your nose is common as well. I had no idea and I was freaking out, it grew in area by Friday night and now I’m using abreva for the first time and it isn’t helping and covering it with a bandage when I go out because it’s the most hideous cold sore I’ve seen in my life. It’s the size of a quarter and is really bumpy and angry red looking. So hopefully one of the remedies in the comments works because I can’t look like I do on Xmas.

I got the 2nd one of my life, last Wed(today is Thurs, 8 days later). I searched Utube. Apple cider vinegar was a BIG solution. Saturday morning was the worst! I've tried the ice cube trick and I feel like it makes it so much worse! Every single time I use it about 5 minutes after taking it off, my cold sore will be like 3Xs more painful then it originally does. I've tried sticking with it anyways the last few cold sores I had and it didn't lessen the amount of time at all.
I never considered ACV though. I could see that helping dry it out at bit.
Use garlic. AVC will not work at all .....if anything, it will irritate the area further. Rubbing a small piece of cut up garlic, on the other hand, dries out ( reduces) the sore thickness, within a day, much like acyclovir prescription cream does. Worked for me, cut the healing time in half. Just wait a few days longer before peeling the scab. Saves money on prescription creams.

I notice mine comes when im dehydrated so the 1st thing for me is staying hydrated. 2nd thing is keeping my lips moist with carmex. But when those 2 fail, I've found that if I immediately use turpentine on the irritated area it drys it up and prevents blistering and scalping. I rarely have breakouts now and I credit these methods I practice. I hope you find what works for you soon. I know how embarrassing cold soars are!
